Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers update for Friday, November 5, teases that Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) will face Susan Banks’ (Stacy Haiduk) alarm bells while missing John Black (Drake Hogestyn) trouble brews. Xander Cook Kiriakis (Paul Telfer) will also make a sad sacrifice since it won’t mean much in the end, so let’s talk about what’s in store.
At the Kiriakis mansion, Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) and Kayla Johnson (Mary Beth Evans) will enjoy some Champagne now that the wedding is over.
They’ll be happy for Justin Kiriakis (Wally Kurth) and Bonnie Lockhart (Judi Evans), but Kayla will sense that something’s bothering Steve.
It looks like Steve will get bogus updates on John and immediately see some red flags. John wouldn’t be off doing some case for Black Patch without telling Steve, so possessed Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) didn’t pick a very good cover story.
Marlena may act like John had to leave in a hurry and couldn’t give Steve the heads-up, but Steve still won’t think this makes sense.
Days spoilers say Steve will carry out a search for John down the road, but for now he’ll mull over the weirdness of it all while John remains the devil’s captive.
At the police station, DA Melinda Trask (Tina Huang) will play hardball with Xander. Trask wasn’t thrilled about having to let a criminal like Xander walk free. Xander has gotten away with way too much over the years – at least from Trask’s perspective.
Although DA Trask was thrilled to snag a much bigger fish like Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk), she still wants Xander to suffer.
That’s why Trask intends to take Xander’s $1 million for herself, but Xander will put up a fight.
There’ll be major bickering between DA Trask and Xander on Friday, but he’ll ultimately have to cave in. Trask apparently overheard Gwen Rizczech’s (Emily O’Brien) secret and could drop the bomb if Xander doesn’t cooperate.
Xander would do just about anything for Gwen, so he’ll sacrifice the money and head back to the Horton house.
Unfortunately, Xander won’t realize there’s no need for Trask’s silence anymore. Now that Abigail DiMera (Marci Miller) has the proof she needs to take Gwen down, her days of deception are over.
Abigail will show Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford) the original medical record she found with Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn). It’ll prove to Jack that Gwen’s been lying to his face for months and has gone to great lengths to cover her tracks.
Jack will be hurt since he’s given Gwen so many opportunities to be completely honest with him. He really thought she was done with all the scheming and secret-keeping, but that’s obviously not the case.
Abigail will hate hurting Jack, but she’ll feel like he needs to know what Gwen’s capable of. Gwen was fine sitting back and letting Abigail blame herself for the death of her half-sister’s unborn baby.
Gwen actually had a miscarriage earlier that day, so the staircase call had nothing to do with the baby loss at all.
Days spoilers say Gwen will try to explain, but Jack won’t be interested in her excuses. He’ll side with Abigail and rip into Gwen for all the pain she’s caused.
In the meantime, Shawn Brady (Brandon Beemer) will enjoy a quiet morning in bed with Belle Brady (Martha Madison).
There’ll be some sweet and steamy moments as they most likely talk about Ben and Ciara Brady Weston’s (Victoria Konefal) desire to start a family.
Marlena may still think it’s odd that Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) was so invested in Ciara and Ben having a baby. Across town, Ben will basically bubble-wrap Ciara and perhaps leave her laughing over just how protective he is.
They don’t even have a doctor’s confirmation on Ciara’s pregnancy yet, so she may think Ben needs to calm down a bit.
Ciara will eventually land at the hospital, where Kayla will confirm she’s indeed going to have a baby. Shawn and Ben will hear this pregnancy confirmation, but Susan won’t need a doctor to tell her anything at all.
Psychic Susan has already sensed the “Cin” bun in the oven and will make a comeback on Friday for an announcement.
Susan will show up on Ben and Ciara’s doorstep with a dire warning, so they’re about to find out that someone dangerous is after their child.
DOOL fans know that someone is the devil himself, but it’ll take some time before that secret comes out!
