The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers tease that Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) had some dark times ahead of him. Liam will face one of the worst periods of his life, so he’ll need Wyatt Spencer’s (Darin Brooks) support to get through it.
Of course, it seems incredibly likely that Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) will dump Liam and kick off this dark time. We have to wonder just how dark things will get for Liam. Although Liam will do his best to patch things up with Hope, she may insist enough is enough.
Once Hope gets updates on Liam’s betrayal with Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) and the fact that Steffy is now pregnant, Hope may feel like this is just too much to take.
Since Hope deserves better than half Liam’s heart, she’s probably going to tell him so and push for a divorce. Meanwhile, The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Steffy will be busy trying to repair the damage with John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan).
Steffy might actually have a shot of fixing things with Finn since there’s less history to get in their way. This is Steffy’s first strike, so it’s not as bad as Liam’s repeat offender situation with Hope.
Liam may have to watch as Steffy potentially works out her issues with Finn – and Hope moves on with Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson)!
Can you imagine the pain and frustration Liam will face if he pushes Hope right into his rival’s arms? That’d be the very worst thing that could happen in Liam’s eyes.
Not to mention Liam may not have Steffy there waiting as his backup girlfriend. Steffy might reunite with Finn and leave Liam feeling truly alone.
Wyatt can support Liam, but pep talks scenes between the brothers aren’t going to be all that dramatic. B&B writers will surely want to show us the depths of Liam’s despair. Liam needs to suffer a bit to hopefully get fans feeling sorry for him.
With that in mind, could Liam turn to some unhealthy coping mechanisms? Steffy had a drug addiction storyline, but maybe Liam’s battle with alcoholism will be next. That would line up with this dark place Liam will sink to in the coming weeks and months.
Liam’s problems started when he got drunk on tequila, but he may turn back to alcohol as he tries to get over losing Hope AND Steffy. Will Liam be the one in need of rehab next? We’ll fill you in as other B&B news emerges.
