The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers reveal that there’s been plenty of Ashland Locke (Richard Burgi) drama going on, but Ashland still doesn’t have all the facts.
Although Ashland obviously feels confident Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) was the one who cheated, he doesn’t seem to have put the rest of the puzzle together yet – namely the fact that Kyle is Harrison Locke’s biological father.
However, that bomb is bound to drop sooner or later. What better time than Kyle and Summer Newman’s (Hunter King) upcoming wedding? If Summer and Kyle are actually able to make it to the altar, it could be Y&R’s way of setting up even more drama.
We know Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) is set to cause some issues for this engaged couple in the weeks ahead.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Sally will make a play for vengeance and target Summer’s romance where it hurts. If Summer has another wedding flop, that would certainly be a tough blow to recover from. That might be a plot Sally has in mind after she gets riled again in the coming episodes.
Although Kyle has denied that Harrison is his, Sally still strongly suspects it. The suspicion alone is dangerous knowledge since spilling it could lead to a new paternity test. Tara Locke (Elizabeth Leiner) claims to have run her own for confirmation that Kyle is the “baby daddy.”
If Sally tips Ashland off to Kyle being Harrison’s bio dad, he may push Tara for the truth or seek another round of test results to confirm for himself. Either way, Ashland will inevitably realize Harrison belongs to Kyle, not him.
After Ashland’s recovery and hospital release, The Young and the Restless writers may start setting up this big paternity reveal. They’ll no doubt want to let that shocker come out in an exciting way. Summer and Kyle’s nuptials might be the perfect event for the paternity bombshell.
It’s easy to imagine Ashland barging in and blowing up the wedding – starting with a whopper of a punch to Kyle’s face! Since Ashland just had a heart attack and is getting a pacemaker, there could be even more Young and the Restless drama if Ashland drops dead or at least keels over.
Regardless, Summer and Kyle’s wedding just might be the ideal time and place for this Harrison paternity bomb to drop. We’ll provide updates as other Y&R news pops up.
