The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Tuesday, February 9, tease that Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) will have to tell Summer Newman (Hunter King) a stunning story.
On Monday’s Y&R episode, February 8, Theo Vanderway (Tyler Johnson) confronts Kyle about his affair with Tara Locke, the wife of a media mogul named Ashland Locke. Kyle is also faced with the news that he fathered a son named Harrison – at least according to Theo.
Kyle will still be reeling over all this when he comes clean to Summer on Tuesday. The Young and the Restless spoilers say Kyle will confess his forbidden romance with Tara before dropping the bigger bomb on Summer.
Although Kyle thought they were careful when it came to birth control, Theo is adamant that Harrison has Kyle’s dimples and warns the “rug-rat grenade” could go off at any moment.
Fortunately, Kyle didn’t know about Harrison before now, so at least he wasn’t keeping that part a secret from Summer. However, Kyle will still have to admit what went down with Tara and concede that Theo might be right – that Harrison could actually be his child.
If Ashland finds out, Kyle’s life could become a total disaster.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say this will be a lot for Summer to take in, but Kyle will beg her to understand. He’ll hold out hope that this won’t change things between them, but Summer may need a chance to process all the shockers.
Of course, Summer will inevitably attack Sally for teaming up with Theo and using this info against Kyle. Sally wanted to send Kyle a message and was counting on it as a way to keep the peace, but her plan isn’t going to turn out as well as she thinks!
While Summer gears up for a fierce faceoff, Sally will be busy bonding with Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) again. There’ll be some moments that bring Jack and Sally even closer, which should only rile Summer even more.
Sally will manage to get Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) on her bad side at some point this week, so it sounds like Summer will also break the Kyle kid news to her mom. This is a massive deal and something that’ll drive the drama in several different ways in the coming weeks.
Other Young and the Restless spoilers say Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) will surprise Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) by bringing over groceries.
Instead of going out to dinner for their date, Amanda will think they should stay in and spill secrets to each other.
Devon will battle guilt over sleeping with Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) since it might change Amanda’s mind about moving forward with him if she knew. Nevertheless, Devon will manage to keep that quiet and put Elena out of his head eventually.
As things get steamier, Devon will admit he hopes he’ll be sharing breakfast with Amanda in the morning. Amanda will take that as her cue to seductively head upstairs, so Devon will join her for a lovemaking session.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say it’ll be Devon and Amanda’s first time doing the deed, so this is obviously a big step.
