Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) will discover Jennifer Deveraux’s (Cady McClain) dangerous secret, so Jack Deveraux’s (Matthew Ashford) daughter will face a new drug dilemma.
DOOL fans know Jennifer has tried to be supportive of Jack’s relationship with Gwen despite all the issues and betrayals. Jennifer can respect that Jack is the kind of guy who always wants to love and step up for his child.
Now that suspicion is shifting onto Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart) in the murder case, that opens the door for a new beginning. Gwen has a shot at redemption, but it’ll also bring a tricky situation.
Days spoilers say Gwen will stumble onto a major secret this fall. Maggie Kiriakis (Suzanne Rogers) tried to get Jennifer’s recovery back on track, but Jenn is obviously hooked again and got her pill bottle out of the garbage.
Sadly, Jennifer’s drug problem is going to get worse, so Gwen will discover the secret while she’s out on bail. That’ll leave Gwen with a difficult decision to make, so we should talk about her options.
It’s possible that Gwen could blackmail Jennifer, but it seems like the show would rather take Gwen in a more helpful direction for once. Gwen has experience dealing with her own addict mother and surely won’t want to see relapsed Jennifer head down that same road.
It’s clear that Gwen loves Jack, so Days spoilers suggest she’ll care that his wife is in trouble. Of course, Jennifer may beg Gwen to keep quiet. Perhaps Jennifer will even try to threaten or bribe Gwen under the circumstances.
Gwen will be in a tight spot since she won’t want to rile Jennifer up, but she may also hate the idea of keeping another secret from Jack – especially one as serious as this.
If Jennifer overdosed or did something to hurt someone else on drugs, Gwen would feel terrible about Jack’s pain. The best thing Gwen can do is just have a surprisingly supportive talk with Jennifer and give her the encouragement she needs to tell Jack the truth.
