Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein) will kiss Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) AND Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson) in the months ahead, but who should she choose?
DOOL is gearing up for a great love triangle once Chad gets the closure he needs.
Solving the murder mystery and having one final vision of Abigail DiMera (Marci Miller) will help Chad find a way forward.
Of course, Chad won’t be ready to move on overnight, but this does mean Days writers can start pushing him toward another love story.
Chad and Stephanie’s bond has been friendly so far, but there’ll be a romantic shift eventually.
We’ll see Stephanie and Chad grow much closer as they connect on a deeper level.
The first sign of that deepening connection should come as Chad and Stephanie enjoy drinks together during the week of October 3-7.
Chad may admit he’s reached a turning point in his grief and is finally ready to let Abigail go.
Based on DOOL’s preview video for the new season, Stephanie will share a kiss with Chad, but another part of the promo shows her kissing Alex, too.
It’s possible one or both of these scenarios could be a dream sequence, but Stephanie’s love triangle will heat up regardless.
Although Stephanie rejected Alex at first, she softened and had a celebratory drink with him as her walls started to come down.
Unfortunately, Alex’s betrayal of Sonny Kiriakis (Zach Tinker) caused Stephanie to put those walls right back up.
Now Alex has some work to do if he wants to undo the damage, but he’ll make it happen.
Patching things up with Sonny should help Stephanie come around once again.
The question is: Who’s a better match for Stephanie?
That could be tricky since Alex isn’t really Stephanie’s type, but he’s trying to change for the better – and sometimes opposites attract anyway.
Chad’s personality is a better fit for Stephanie, but would she be a risky rebound?
Even after making peace with Abigail’s demise, it could be too soon for Chad to enter a new relationship.
Nevertheless, Days doesn’t usually have a long mourning period since the show must go on!
Stephanie will have two good options on her hands, but who will win her heart in the end? Will it be Chad or Alex?
