General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) could return with a baby bump and reveal she’s pregnant with Nikolas Cassadine’s (Marcus Coloma) child. Since Esme is surely alive following that parapet tumble, we have to start thinking about what might happen after her big GH comeback.
Of course, Esme’s return would be even more exciting if it came with a pregnancy revelation.
Now that Nikolas and Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) will be keeping this secret regarding Esme’s fate, they might have a reason to bond again.
That’s especially true if Nikolas blackmails Ava into giving their marriage another chance.
Ava and Nikolas have a rather twisted relationship anyway, so they might be able to get past his hookup with Esme under the circumstances.
Just when it looks like Nikolas and Ava are going to live happily ever after again, perhaps Esme could show up sporting a growing baby bump.
Esme could use an unborn Cassadine heir as the ultimate bargaining chip and convince Nikolas or even Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) to make all her legal problems go away.
Victor threatened to kill Esme not too long ago, but he’d want to protect her if she had a Cassadine bun in the oven – at least until the baby was born.
It’d buy Esme some time and help her potentially avoid prison, even after she gets caught.
It’s only been a couple months since Esme and Nikolas hooked up, though it could be even less than that when you consider soap time often runs slower.
It’s possible Esme doesn’t even realize she’s pregnant yet if she indeed is.
The baby would have to survive this parapet ordeal, but it makes sense to potentially rock Nikolas with a pregnancy bombshell down the road.
Nikolas offered to get Esme anything she might need from the pharmacy following their steamy session, so he implied that he could get her the morning after pill.
Esme assured Nikolas that she had everything taken care of, but why should we trust Esme at all?
The show has the perfect setup for Esme to be pregnant by Nikolas, particularly since she had that fake-out before.
Esme wasn’t carrying Spencer Cassadine’s (Nicholas Chavez) child, but could she be carrying Nikolas’ baby now?
