General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Helena Cassadine’s (Constance Towers) video could contain the buried Cassadine secret and prove to be Victor Cassadine’s (Charles Shaughnessy) shocking solution. Let’s consider some important clues and think about where this hot plot might be headed.
For starters, Laura Collins (Genie Francis) has connected some dots and keeps reiterating that Victor is the common link.
Laura knows it can’t be a coincidence that Victor resurfaced shortly before Luke Spencer (Anthony Geary) turned up dead and the counterfeit Ice Princess drama came into play.
Of course, we should also remember that Helena wanted to have the last word over Luke at his memorial.
Helena left behind a video message to be played at that event, so it’s reasonable to assume that GH writers want this to be part of the connection, too.
This storyline is mostly focused on this battle between Laura and Victor.
Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) will play a big role as well, but the show has framed it as a Victor and Laura war from the get-go.
That’s why it’s interesting that Laura was the one to pull the plug on Helena’s video – making it so no one saw the end of it.
There was surely something big in that video message, so it’ll inevitably come back around.
Could Helena hold the buried Cassadine secret that Victor needs?
Victor has been trying to access some of Drew Cain’s (Cameron Mathison) memories that are currently out of reach, but Peter August (Wes Ramsey) took the true activation key to the grave.
Although Victor wants Drew kept alive in case he might still be able to activate him, he also hinted about maybe finding another way to get what he wants.
Victor suggested there’s some critical location that ties in with this buried secret and could be the key to his life’s work.
If Victor can’t activate Drew and indeed has to find another way, perhaps he can learn this buried Cassadine secret from Helena herself!
There has to be something major at the end of that video, so it makes sense for it to be the answer to all Victor’s problems.
