General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Holly Sutton (Emma Samms) and Robert Scorpio’s (Tristan Rogers) diamond scam will be revealed. Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) will fume after this drug con is inevitably exposed, so let’s talk about what’s in store.
Holly carried out a sneaky plan in GH’s November 23 episode, which involved drugging Robert through the salt for his tequila shot.
Of course, it wouldn’t make sense for Robert to get duped by Holly when she already spilled that she’s working for Victor.
Instead, Robert seems to be in on the plot and playing along so this looks legit.
Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) may be the one getting duped – just to make sure Victor gets fooled as well.
Holly got her hands on a necklace, but is it really THE necklace? This could just as easily be a phony that Robert swapped out.
Whatever the case, there’s a secret scheme going on, so we have to consider what Holly and Robert’s endgame is.
Naturally, what Holly wants most is to save Ethan Lovett (Nathan Parsons) and finally free herself from this horrible arrangement.
Holly doesn’t want to do Victor’s bidding anymore – and she won’t have to if Robert can help her get Ethan out of captivity.
Robert may already have people investigating and searching for Ethan at this point.
As for the necklace, that could potentially be used to strike a deal.
It’d be risky, but maybe Holly could try to force a trade: the necklace containing Ice Princess diamonds in exchange for Ethan’s freedom.
If Victor kills Ethan, he knows there’s no chance Holly will ever help him again.
Holly might also promise Victor will never acquire the necklace if he harms a hair on Ethan’s head.
This could become a situation where Victor has to decide just how badly he wants control of this necklace, which could actually be a fake.
Victor could be tempted to let Ethan go if he fears it’s the only path to getting the gems he’s after.
Regardless, Robert is on Holly’s side now, so this whole drugging situation seems to be a team effort.
Holly and Robert are apparently conning Victor together, so Victor’s going to be furious when he figures that out.
