General Hospital Spoilers: Monday, July 11 Recap – Spencer Spies Trina & Rory Kissing – Esme Fakes Sonny Terror

General Hospital (GH) spoilers recap for Monday, July 11, reveals that Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) spied Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) and Rory Cabrera (Michael Blake Kruse) kissing – and Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) faked Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) terror.

By the Metro Court pool, Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) joined Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) and Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco), so that sparked more reminiscing about Dante and Cody’s camp days.

Meanwhile, Trina was down in the dumps about her imminent trial and wished she could forget about it – even for an hour.

Rory popped up with an offer to help over dessert, so Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) pushed them to go.

Over with Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) and Michael Corinthos (temporarily played by Robert Adamson), they ran into Sonny and faced questions about whether Willow was OK following her recent collapse.

Willow reassured Sonny and thanked him for his help, but Michael still seemed uncomfortable.

Next, Sonny ran into Esme and Spencer. That led to Esme gasping dramatically and acting fearful since Sonny previously kidnapped her – though Sonny denied that’s what he did.

Sonny cornered Spencer alone and wondered what he was doing since he was standing by Esme while alienating his other loved ones.

However, Spencer swore on his mother’s memory that he was doing the right thing, so Sonny accepted that and told him to be careful.

Once Spencer was alone, he worried that time was running out.

In the park, Trina was surprised when Rory’s seemingly basic brownies turned out to be delicious.

Rory succeeded in distracting Trina for a while and ultimately kissed her during the fireworks – right as Spencer showed up to watch it happen.

After Carly met with her financial advisor about taking out another loan, he warned that the interest rates would be quite high.

Once Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) arrived and got updates, she thought Carly was out of her mind for doing this.

Olivia still wanted to buy Carly’s half of the Metro Court for her, so Michael and Willow overheard as they walked in.

Carly came clean to Willow and Michael about her tricky situation after Olivia left, but she wouldn’t let Michael bail her out.

Since Carly wanted answers about Willow following her fainting spell, Willow admitted she was pregnant.

Carly was over the moon as she hugged both Willow and Michael, so Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) walked in on an exciting scene.

After Josslyn learned Willow’s pregnancy news as well, she was ecstatic over being an aunt again.

Carly’s financial advisor returned and spoke with her privately about the only lousy deal that was available to her.

After Carly mentioned getting a reminder that there were more important things than money, she refused to put her house at risk.

Carly guessed she was no longer the co-owner of the Metro Court, but she seemed distraught in a moment alone.

In the park again, Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) was tired of being a third wheel to Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) and Austin Gatlin-Holt (Roger Howarth) since no one else showed up for their picnic.

Before Britt could leave, Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) appeared.

Maxie tried to act like the party was just getting started, but Britt took off – leaving Maxie concerned about her potentially giving up on Society Setups and love in general.

When Spinelli hinted that it might be for the best, Maxie wondered why he’d say something like that.

Spinelli suggested giving up on love was better than getting matched with the wrong person.

Once Cody saw Britt at the Metro Court pool, he approached her regarding their Society Setups match.

Britt explained that Cody wasn’t her type, but he convinced her to at least go on one date with him.

Back with Dante and Sam, they canoodled in bed together as Dante reflected on more childhood memories.

Sam and Dante made Fourth of July plans for next year as they enjoyed the fireworks through the window.

Josslyn also caught a glimpse of Michael and Willow looking blissful under the light show, so she was happy for them.

Over a secret phone call, Austin insisted he couldn’t do something and added that he was no longer in Pautuck.

Austin expected the person on the other end to live up to their end of the bargain and didn’t want any more contact.

Once Austin rejoined Maxie on Monday’s GH episode, they shared a romantic moment watching the fireworks on their picnic blanket.

As for Cody, he thanked Spinelli for arranging that match with Britt.

Spinelli wasn’t pleased about getting blackmailed into it, but Cody pointed out that he was keeping Society Setups’ true mastermind under wraps.

At Crimson, Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) made sure that Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) was steering clear of Nina.

There was also talk about Nina always feeling like the villain in all the Carly drama. Valentin thought maybe it was time to change that.

Back with Olivia, she found out Sonny knew about Carly and the hotel. Olivia said she was going to help Carly despite her stubbornness, but someone beat her to it.

When Nina showed up in Carly’s office, Carly told her to get out and argued that they had nothing to talk about.

Nina insisted that wasn’t true and stood her ground.

General Hospital spoilers say Nina’s about to make a stunning offer, so GH fans will want to stay tuned!
