General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Wednesday, January 12, teases that Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) and Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) will team up while Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) delivers a heartfelt plea to Austin Gatlin Holt (Roger Howarth). Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) will also make a big decision, so let’s talk about the highs and lows ahead.

At Crimson, Nina will be pleased when she calls and Valentin comes running! She still has a rather tight grip on Valentin’s heart and will likely be able to secure a favor.

Nina had a negative reaction to Willow Tait’s (Katelyn MacMullen) latest Wiley Quartermaine-Corinthos (Viron Weaver) suggestion. The idea of giving up her legal claim to Wiley doesn’t work for Nina at all.

Nina doesn’t trust Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) to ever budge an inch on his own, so why would she give up her only shot at seeing her grandson? Instead, Willow’s move could backfire and push Nina to set something in motion with the courts.

Other than Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard), Nina is pretty fed up with the Corinthos clan at this point – including Willow now that she’s suggested a ridiculous deal that Michael would never go for.

Nina doesn’t want to wait until Wiley’s a high schooler before she sees him again, so she may work on going after the legal visits she’s entitled to. The show is always quick to remind us that grandparents have visitation rights in New York, so Nina may rely on Valentin’s knowledge and resources from his previous custody drama.

Over with Austin, he won’t be thrilled over his latest encounter with Brook Lynn. Austin will continue to hold a grudge over the past, but Brook Lynn will hope for a peaceful way forward. She may play the Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) card and argue that Maxie would want them all to get along if possible.

Next, Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) will mull over her future now that she’s accepted Shawn Butler’s (Sean Blakemore) job offer. She’ll hope this can be a true fresh start, but she’ll turn to someone mysterious for help over the phone.

Speaking of being mysterious, Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) will stonewall Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) and decide to keep what she knows about “Bailey Quartermaine” aka Louise August under wraps.

Of course, Tracy won’t be able to resist making a few cryptic comments in lockup, so Ned won’t get why she’s hiding things and making matters more difficult at a time like this. Ned’s priority will be making sure Tracy doesn’t do a lengthy stint in prison for her crimes against Alexis.

As for Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight), he’ll apparently go to bat for Tracy as her attorney. Martin will work on getting Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) on his side as he tries to get the case thrown out with the DA.

In the meantime, Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) will want Harmony Miller (Inga Cadranel) to know exactly where she stands. As far as Sam’s concerned, what happened to Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Lexi Ainsworth) is unforgivable.

Sam can’t just brush past all the cult drama that Harmony was wrapped up in, but she knows Alexis has come to consider Harmony a confidant. Since Harmony seems to be having a positive effect on Sam, she should put up with her for now.

Naturally, all bets are off if Harmony dares to do any more damage! That’s something Sam will certainly want to be straight with Harmony about.

When Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) meets up with Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero), he’ll have some mixed emotions to work through. Olivia and Robert will keep their bond going strong, but Carly will soon need Olivia’s attention.

Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) will feel like Carly’s saying she wants to throw in the towel on their marriage, but she may not be ready to go that far yet. However, Carly meant what she said about needing this separation to sort things out for herself.

Carly threatened to leave if Sonny wasn’t out in the morning, but she may decide to be the one who goes no matter what. Perhaps that’ll be what shocks Olivia on Wednesday since something’s indeed going to.

Carly might move in a suite at the Metro Court and leave Olivia scrambling to repair this marriage. Olivia may feel like there has to be a way to salvage things, but Carly will definitely have her doubts about that being possible.

Carly’s wounds are still fresh right now, so she probably has the right idea about needing time and space. The problem is Sonny may need someone to lean on soon – and it could be Nina if Carly keeps shutting him out! As other GH news and updates emerge, we’ll keep you posted.

General Hospital spoilers say Carly, Sonny and Nina are all caught up in quite a love triangle, so don’t miss what’s next in this messy storyline. CDL’s where you want to be for the hottest General Hospital spoilers, updates and news, so make us your go-to GH source.
