The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Chelsea Murder Suspect After Ashland’s Death – Revenge & Mental Issues Perfect Storm?

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) could become a murder suspect after Ashland Locke’s (Robert Newman) death. Revenge and mental issues could bring the perfect storm, so let’s talk about what’s coming up.

Since there have been so many deadly hints in the dialogue, we have to believe a murder mystery is brewing.

Ashland certainly has no shortage of enemies who’d want to take him out for good – and now Chelsea may be adding herself to the potential suspect list.

In the May 5 episode, Chelsea fixates on the night of Rey Rosales’ (Jordi Vilasuso) crash and rants about whether Ashland even did anything to help him.

Chelsea also struggles to understand why scum like Ashland lived while an amazing man like Rey died.

Could Chelsea send Ashland to an early grave? It’s possible since Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson) is growing concerned about Chelsea’s mental state and the possibility that she’s losing it again.

Chloe doesn’t want to see Chelsea fall back into old habits and head down another dangerous road.

We should note that Chelsea isn’t sleeping well either, so there’s the potential for her to take some sleeping medication and have some side effects.

What if Chelsea sleepwalks and kills Ashland? That could be a route the show possibly takes.

However, it doesn’t really matter whether Chelsea is actually guilty.

The point is what Chelsea is capable of – and in the GCPD’s eyes, Chelsea is definitely going to be capable of murder.

Chelsea poisoned Rey with the intention of framing Adam Newman (Mark Grossman), so that says a lot about the lengths she’s willing to go to when she’s not in her right mind.

Now we’re getting clues that perhaps Chelsea is about to go off the rails again.

Rey died of a heart attack, but Chelsea’s obsessed with the idea that Ashland perhaps didn’t do enough to help.

The way Chelsea sees it, Rey might’ve been saved if Ashland hadn’t been so busy trying to play the hero for Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle).

Chelsea’s fixation could be building somewhere troubling if she becomes an Ashland murder suspect when the time comes. As other Y&R news pops up, we’ll deliver more updates.
