The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) may come out of retirement to beat Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) and Devon Hamilton (Bryton James). Will Michael step up to help save Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) and Abby Newman-Abbott-Chancellor’s (Melissa Ordway) family?
Y&R fans know Amanda has some serious legal skills and an amazing track record. In fact, Amanda has never lost a case!
That means Abby and Chance are going to need someone with some equally amazing legal skills to go up against Amanda in court.
Chance and Abby can’t take chances since Dominic Newman-Abbott-Chancellor’s (Rainn and River Ware) future is on the line.
Abby tried to explain their perspective to Devon and offered some reasonable points for why shared custody just wasn’t an option.
However, Devon is refusing to take no for an answer – and Amanda is eager to help him fight for legal rights to be with his son.
That’s surely not going to work for Victor Newman (Eric Braeden), who could turn to Michael for help with the custody battle that’s brewing.
In the January 10 episode, Michael contemplates retirement after winning yet another case.
Michael’s at the top of his game and is the best district attorney this town’s ever seen according to Lauren Baldwin (Tracey E. Bregman)!
That’s why Michael will soon go out on top and retire to spend more time with Lauren.
Nevertheless, Michael might be persuaded to come out of retirement to take one last case for Victor, who actually offers him a job at Newman Media in that same episode.
Of course, Victor doesn’t realize Devon’s about to cause all this custody drama, so a different offer could be brewing.
Victor may insist he needs the best of the best in that courtroom and contend that Michael is the only one he trusts to take Amanda down.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Michael might tackle this extremely important case for Chance and Abby, who’ll be determined to keep their original sperm donor agreement intact.
