The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Summer Newman-Abbott (Allison Lanier) and Sally Spectra’s (Courtney Hope) rivalry may be back on. Marchetti could kick off a feud with Sally’s new fashion label, so let’s talk about how things might play out.
Although Sally isn’t someone who likes to be rescued or even accept help most of the time, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will push her to take his loan anyway.
This is Sally and Chloe Mitchell’s (Elizabeth Hendrickson) big chance to make a name for themselves in the fashion industry.
It looks like Sally will indeed accept the loan and move forward with some exciting plans.
Chloe should be thrilled once Sally caves in, but Summer may react with fury instead.
Summer already didn’t like the idea of Nick dating Sally, so she’s certainly not going to like him giving her money.
This could make Sally look like a gold digger in Summer’s eyes, but Nick may assure his daughter that he was the one who extended the offer.
Even so, Summer may feel like Sally is too much of a wildcard for Nick to do business with. It may be a lose-lose situation as far as Summer’s concerned.
If Sally crashes and burns, then she’ll never be able to repay Nick.
If Sally is super successful, Summer may worry about her label competing with Marchetti’s own fashion lines.
Although Marchetti is already an established fashion house, there’s the potential for Sally’s label to take the world by storm and cut into some of Marchetti’s profits.
Summer may be upset with Nick for giving Sally a helping hand and paving the way for more competition.
This should be a bad plan any way you slice it from Summer’s perspective, so she’ll be sure to let Nick know!
However, Nick will stand by his decision – and that means Summer will just have to roll with whatever happens.
The result may be Summer and Sally’s rivalry reigniting with a fashionable twist, so don’t miss what’s in store.
