The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers recap for Thursday, December 15, teases that Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will follow Summer Newman-Abbott (Allison Lanier) to Society and pester her for news about whether she’ll be fired.
Phyllis will repeatedly blame Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) for bringing all this Jeremy Stark (James Hyde) chaos on herself, so Summer will snap about her mom taking zero accountability.
In the end, Summer will reveal that she already discussed the issue with Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) and they decided to terminate Phyllis’ employment at Marchetti effective immediately.
Phyllis will rant about this being absolutely unbelievable, but Summer will hope this is at least a learning experience for her mom as she leaves with her to-go order.
Y&R spoilers say Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) will listen to the loud conversation and even send Phyllis a drink at one point.
Once Lauren Baldwin (Tracey E. Bregman) and Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) arrive, Phyllis will play the blame game with them, too.
However, Michael will remind Phyllis that he told her going after Diane could come back to bite her.
At Crimson Lights, Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) will wonder why Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) didn’t join Connor Newman (Judah Mackey), who went to play soccer in the park with a friend.
Chelsea will admit it feels strange and intimidating venturing beyond the coffeehouse, but Sharon will offer advice about taking a step or two outside her comfort zone.
After Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) walks in, Chelsea will hope for the chance to make amends. Victoria will eventually decide she has a few minutes to spare before her trip, so she’ll head upstairs with Chelsea.
Chelsea will be sorry for trying to destroy Victoria’s marriage when she first came to town – and she’ll apologize for being too pushy about Johnny Abbott (Paxton Mishkind) learning the truth about his bio mom.
Victoria will still have concerns about Chelsea’s intentions, but Chelsea will insist her sole focus is getting better. Chelsea won’t want to make anyone uncomfortable and will express her gratitude since Victoria has done such a great job raising Johnny.
At Newman Enterprises, Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) will urge Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) to take the lead on meetings while Victoria is out of town. Since Nikki will want Nick to demonstrate some leadership skills, he’ll hope she’s not suggesting he become co-CEO or CEO alone.
Nikki will assure Nick that there are no plans to replace Victoria or even herself – though she’ll hint that she’d like to see Nick take over her own position down the line.
Until then, Nikki will be glad to watch her children step up and shine in other ways, but that won’t go for Nick’s personal life. Nick will try to shut down Nikki’s complaints about Sally, but she’ll point out that she faked a terminal illness.
After Nikki asks if Nick really wants to bring another Ashland Locke (Robert Newman) into the family, Nick will insist Sally is nothing like Ashland.
Sally has learned from her mistakes, so Nick will defend her and won’t be concerned about any Summer problems since he’ll think his daughter wants his happiness.
When Sally arrives, she’ll pick up on the tension between Nikki and Nick. Even so, Nick will downplay it once he speaks to Sally in private and checks out the new numbers for her business plan.
Nick will like what he sees and will advise upping the budget to have some wiggle room.
After Sally flirts with Nick over business talk, he’ll pull her close and admit he likes spending time with her.
Nick will want Sally to pencil him in for dinner soon, so Sally will suggest that the idea of planning dates and taking things slow is new to her.
With Adam, Sally always felt like she was trying to outrun things.
Nick will think they should enjoy the journey and will nearly kiss Sally, but she’ll pull back and leave him wanting more since she’s got a takeout order waiting. Nevertheless, Sally will promise to pencil Nick in as she leaves.
Back at Society, Sally will bump into Adam at the bar and suggest she’s not afraid of running into him.
Once Sally talks about their relationship reaching a natural resolution, Adam will be glad she feels that way.
Adam will get updates on Sally’s business plan for an interior design company, which she’ll want to partner with Chancellor-Winters.
After Adam wishes Sally good fortune and success, he’ll hope Nick brings her the happiness she deserves.
Sally’s takeout will arrive as she expresses her appreciation to Adam, who’ll learn she’s officially seeing Nick – though they’re taking things slow.
Adam will assure Sally that they don’t have to do that on his account since he wishes them both well.
Afterward, Sally will gloat to Phyllis about her interior design company being a competitor for Marchetti Home soon.
Phyllis will feel like “everyone’s lost their damn mind” as her bad day continues.
At Crimson Lights again, Allie Nguyen (Kelsey Wang) will step on the patio for a phone call while Sharon tells Noah Newman (Rory Gibson) that Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) was there earlier looking for him.
Allie will overhear and speak with Noah privately about whether something might’ve happened to give Audra hope.
Noah will ultimately confess that Audra paid him a visit at the nightclub to try winning him back.
After Noah admits Audra kissed him, he’ll claim he pushed her away with no hesitation.
Allie will grow suspicious about what Audra managed to read into the situation and will ask if Noah kissed back – even a little bit.
Noah will get flustered and contend that it happened fast, so he can’t be sure. It’ll all be confusing to Noah, so Allie will ask if she needs to be worried.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Noah and Allie will have some relationship drama to deal with, so stay tuned.
