The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Thursday, December 8, tease that Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) will attack Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) while Summer Newman-Abbott (Allison Lanier) gets put to the test. Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will also be willing to take drastic measures to protect Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) and anyone else he cares about from the line of fire.
Now that Jeremy Stark (James Hyde) is in town, he’s stirring up a whole lot of trouble.
Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) will quiz Nikki about her role in summoning Jeremy, but Nikki will insist that Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) went rogue.
Regardless, Victor won’t approve of how close Nikki is to this situation.
There’ll inevitably be concerns about Summer and her family with Kyle and Harrison Abbott (Kellen Enriquez) as well.
Victor will feel like Jeremy poses a very real threat, so he’ll be willing to do whatever it takes to protect his loved ones – especially Nikki since she’s been part of this Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) takedown mission.
While Victor prepares to take drastic measures, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will challenge Summer in some way.
Summer will be put to the test, so that could be as simple as Nick pushing her to stay out of his love life.
We all know that’s a challenge for Summer, especially since she knows Nick has grown closer to Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) lately.
Nick may allude to some extra complications popping up, but he’ll probably just want Summer to drop the subject.
Summer has bigger problems to worry about anyway since she’s furious with Phyllis for unleashing Jeremy on GC.
Kyle will also be angry with Ashley since she refuses to let go of her vicious vendetta against Diane.
Since Jack invited Diane to spend the night in a guest room, Ashley surely won’t be happy to see her in the morning.
That could be why raging Kyle will launch a verbal attack and push Ashley to grow up.
Ashley might decide to seek out Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) after her confrontation with Kyle, but that could bring some awkwardness.
Y&R spoilers say Tucker will defend his behavior to Ashley at some point this week, so maybe she’ll catch him with Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) following their hot hookup!
That could lead to Tucker defending it as a casual thing and pointing out that Ashley hasn’t committed to him – at least not yet.
If Ashley shows signs of jealousy, that could actually give Tucker a little more hope for their future together.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Tucker will continue to do a delicate dance with Ashley, so stay tuned.
