The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers update for the week of October 10-14 teases that Billy Abbott’s (Jason Thompson) confession will break Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) heart before Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) plots her next Johnny Abbott (Paxton Mishkind) ambush. Here’s what Y&R fans can look forward to.
At Chancellor-Winters, Lily will get the feeling that Billy doesn’t feel passionate about his job at all.
Billy will finally admit that he just doesn’t feel the same excitement as Lily does about the corporate world.
Although Billy has gotten good at pretending he’s the perfect right-hand man, he’ll struggle to keep up the act.
Billy just won’t think his COO job is ever going to fulfill him, but he won’t be sure what alternative would make him happy either.
It’ll break Lily’s heart to hear all this, but she’ll try to show her support.
Even so, this could lead to trouble in Lily and Billy’s relationship – especially if he starts to resent her for pushing him down this corporate path.
Billy will also deal with more Chelsea drama when he runs into her in the park.
Since Billy will get the scoop on Chelsea’s tense interaction with Johnny, he’ll accuse her of plotting another ambush and warn that it’s not happening.
However, Chelsea will apparently fight back and show off her unhinged side again.
Although Chelsea keeps pushing away anyone who tries to help, it’s clear that professional therapy is desperately needed.
Over with Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson), she’ll have a lot to think about after Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) tries to make amends.
Ashley won’t really believe Tucker’s changed act, but she’ll want to know more about his potential link to Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters).
Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) and Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will want to know more as well, so they’ll recruit Ashley to manipulate Tucker for intel.
That could mean playing with fire, so Ashley will have to consider her next move carefully.
While Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) develops some suspicions regarding Diane and what she might be keeping from him, Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will try to protect Ashley.
The closer Tucker gets to Ash, the more questions and concerns Jack will have.
After Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpt) gets fed up with Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) and Victoria Newman’s (Amelia Heinle) partnership, she’ll threaten to expose their scheme.
That means Elena will march in a meeting about filing the IPO launch papers.
Nate may try to whisk Elena out of there before she says something she can’t take back.
Although Nate will try to fix their relationship in the aftermath, Elena may not be sure that’s possible anymore.
Across town, Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) will ruin Nick Newman’s (Joshua Morrow) date night with Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope).
It looks like Adam will swoop in and try to make sure he’s in the driver’s seat on this romantic occasion.
Nick will start to fear that maybe Sally wants Adam back more than she’s letting on.
There’ll be questions about who Sally’s heart belongs to and whether she can really give it to Nick.
