General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Tuesday, May 16, teases that Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) will continue ranting at Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) and will feel like she should be putting her family above Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart).
However, Anna will defend her romance and perhaps suspect Robert’s in a foul mood because of his own personal drama.
Robert will admit he’s facing a bit of a romantic dilemma, so it seems Anna will help him find a way to follow his heart.
Other GH spoilers say Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) will corner Holly Sutton (Emma Samms) at The Savoy, where she’ll propose getting honest about where they stand regarding Robert.
Once Diane makes it clear that she’s not down for a love triangle, she’ll suggest the ball is in Robert’s court.
If Robert wants to get back together with Holly, Diane doesn’t intend to fight it or stand in the way.
Naturally, Holly can’t have a real reunion with Robert if she doesn’t stay in Port Charles.
That’s why Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner) will be curious about Holly’s long-term plans and whether she’ll remain in PC.
Holly will have to make a tough choice, but she won’t be sticking around since we know Emma Samms is only back for a short-term stint.
While Holly mulls over her future, Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs) will do the same as Selina Wu (Lydia Look) offers a new debt repayment strategy.
Of course, Gladys will have concerns if that strategy is illegal or allows Selina to sink her claws into Gladys even further.
Unfortunately, Gladys owes Selina $85,000 and can’t repay her without dipping into Sasha Gilmore’s (Sofia Mattsson) bank account.
It sounds like Gladys is in a lose-lose situation, so we’ll see which route she ultimately takes and what kind of terrible news it leads to.
During her Home and Heart appearance, Sasha will struggle due to Haven de Havilland’s (Morgan Fairchild) twisted plot.
Haven is scheming to send Sasha off the rails again, so she made sure Sasha heard a baby crying in her earpiece.
Although Sasha will try to ignore it, she’ll have a hard time focusing on the presentation and will quickly start losing her grip on things.
Thankfully, Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) will somehow step up for Sasha and prevent a catastrophe, so Sasha will be grateful for his help in making this TV comeback a success.
Across town, Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) will be taken aback when Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) shows up to discuss Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen), who’s counting on Nina to make peace with her rival.
Of course, Nina will hope Carly can help her form a mother-daughter connection with Willow as well.
There’ll be some tension in Carly’s kitchen, where she’ll remind Nina that they can’t erase the past.
Carly may be willing to try being civil when they see each other, but she’ll insist that Willow is the only one who can decide if Nina gets a spot in her life.
Nina will slip up when she mentions that she felt guilty about something, so Carly will have questions.
It looks like Nina will cover her blunder for now, but Carly might think back to this mistake somewhere down the line.
