The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers recap for Tuesday, June 20, reveals that Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) and Faith Newman (Reylynn Caster) will be jumpy after Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) leaves for the hospital.
Faith will ask about the bag in the house and learn it belonged to Cameron Kirsten (Linden Ashby), so Sharon will agree to put it outside until the police can come pick it up.
At the hospital, Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) will insist Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) is the reason their baby’s dead and will add that he chose wrong.
Adam will argue that he couldn’t let Sally go, but she’ll think he should’ve fought for their daughter since her mom couldn’t. Sally won’t want to be there without her daughter and will sob over the loss.
In the waiting area, Adam will deliver bad news to Nick. Although Adam will seem angry over all the missed calls, Nick will insist he was dealing with something that was a matter of life and death.
Adam will point out that he was dealing with life-and-death issues too, so Nick will get updates on Adam’s dilemma and how he chose Sally over the baby.
When Nick joins Sally, he’ll embrace her and kiss her head as he tries to offer comfort. Nick will apologize for not being there for Sally and will agree with Adam’s choice to keep Sally alive.
However, Sally will remain inconsolable and will keep acting like she’d prefer to join her baby in the great beyond.
After Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) gives Sally a memento from the nurses, she’ll remind her that all she has to do is press the call button if she wants to see her baby.
Sally will open the box to reveal some pink booties and footprints for Ava Hope Spectra, so she’ll vow to always love her little girl and never forget her.
Since Sally will feel like she needs to say goodbye, she’ll press the call button and explain that she’s ready to see her baby now.
Adam will join Nick for a drink at Society since Sally needs to sleep.
That’ll give Adam a chance to tell the whole story, so Nick will understand Adam’s predicament since he just faced a similar one due to Cameron’s twisted game.
After Nick assures Adam that he made the right decision, he’ll end up giving his brother a hug before heading back to the cottage.
Once Faith and Sharon hear that Sally’s baby didn’t make it, they’ll give Nick their sympathy. Nick will worry about how Adam’s going to deal with all this since he has no one to lean on.
Back at Society, Adam will open his own memento box and look distraught.
Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will show compassion for Adam when he finds him and will relate since he’s been in Adam’s shoes before.
When Adam asks how his dad coped, Victor will admit he handled it all wrong and pushed everyone away.
Although Victor will want Adam to lean on the people who love him, Adam will act like he doesn’t have anybody.
All Adam will want is Sally’s forgiveness, but he won’t feel like he’s ever going to get it and won’t think anything matters anymore.
At Sharon’s house on Tuesday’s Y&R episode, Nick will stick around for a while and push her to open up about killing Cameron.
Sharon will admit she feels alive – like she’s been asleep since Rey Rosales’ (Jordi Vilasuso) death and just listening to other people’s problems while serving coffee.
For the first time in a long time, Sharon will feel awake!
