In tonight’s America’s Got Talent episode, the Auditions continued tonight. Up first was Tani. Tani was from Japan. He brought along a drone with him. Just the one drone. His act wasn’t for everyone as Mel B can happily attest to, but she was merely the first to press her reject button.

Not the last. The guy was using the drone to put stuff on giant faces. It wasn’t that great and the men judges still liked it. They said it was original.

The women judges knew that there was no future with this act. The audience tried to pressure everyone into letting them through and they didn’t. Simon also passed the buck by letting the women go first. He didn’t enjoy this act as much as he pretended he did.

Next up was Citi Limitz. They’re a musical group. They were also brothers. Two of them were even twins. The twins were the same age as the show at twenty and they dedicated tonight’s performance to Mel B. They performed K-Ci and JoJo’s “All My Life”. They didn’t have a backup track.

They went full acapella. They were nervous at first and then they just found their groove. They sounded amazing together. They got resounding yesses from everyone. This included the audience. They were the first act to make it through tonight.

The brothers were followed by Amanda Badertscher. She’s from Georgia. She was from Dallas and the brothers were actually living in Atlanta. They were neighbors.

Amanda was a Physical Education teacher. Her kids encouraged her to try out for the show as a means of walking the walk. She’s got a great arm on her. She managed to fly that football from the back of the balcony. She made most of her shots. If she had been a man, the NFL would have signed her after tonight. She was that good and her students must love her.

The judges were in a good mood tonight because they allowed Amanda to shine. She made it through to the next round and will have a great story to go back to school with. Next up was the Kid Clippers.

This dance group often performs during the LA Clipper’s halftime show. They wanted to be like the Harlem Globetrotters. They wanted to perform all around the country one day. The kids were adorable and talented. They easily won over the audience. Was it enough to win over the judges?

The answer to that one was yes. Literally! They got four yesses tonight. They were moving on to the next round and up next was Tamrat and Tomas. They were the TT Boys. They actually taught Simon an exercise move backstage to help with their backs. They were originally from Ethiopia.

They left their act as a bit of a surprise. All they would say was that they’ve been doing this for twenty years and that meant since the younger one was three. They were acrobats only it was like they didn’t have spines because the way one guy was able to flip through the air like he weighed nothing. And could bend into himself was crazy good.

They upped the ante the most so far. They really wowed the judges. They also scared them slightly and so they got four yesses tonight. The men were going into the next round.

They were followed by Austin Brown. He now makes Nashville his home. He grew up singing in the church with his dad. His accent had everyone convinced that he was a Country singer. Plus, the fact that he now lives in Nashville was usually a giveaway. Those that thought that were wrong because Austin came out singing “When A Man Loves A Woman”.

His twang disappeared when he started performing. His voice did justice to the great Michael Bolton. He has a wonderful voice. Howie called it beautiful before he said that he needed more for Season 20. Howie gave him a no. Mel and Sofia gave him a yes. It came down to Simon. Simon ultimately agreed with Howie.

He gave a no. He said it sounded generic and that they didn’t have enough time to ask him to come back again tonight with a different song. He might have to try again later on this season. Or perhaps in the future.

It simply wasn’t going to change Simon’s mind that Austin wasn’t ready for the big leagues yet. The guys’ votes made them very unpopular with the audience. They got booed. Austin was followed by Cole Swensen. He was another singer. He also came with his own guitar.

Cole was a bit shy and music helped him come out of his shell. He performed “Viva La Vida” tonight. His voice was very much his own. It was distinctive. His mom performing the cello next to him made the moment extra special as well.

Cole left a great impression. Simon told him that on his own it would have been good. With his mom on the other hand, it was great. He really had Cole worried there for second. Simon was lucky that he wasn’t as scary as the next guy. The next guy was a murderous clown.

He was wearing rocker gear. He had clown makeup on and blood splashes on his fast. He didn’t talk. He didn’t explain his act. He came over to the judges with a mouth full of balloon string. His arm told them to pick a color. Things got weird after that.

There was also a second creepy clown. Followed by a third creepy clown. They scared everyone. Howie pressed his reject button because he was near seventy and he was genuinely worried about a heart attack.

Still, it was entertaining. They couldn’t take that away from them and that’s how three crazy clowns ended up in the next round. Next up were Girish and the Chronicles. They were a Rocker band all the way from India. They performed “Set Fire to the Rain” though their spin on an Adele classic made it their own.

Taking on Adele in front of two Brits also showed a great amount of courage. The band was amazing. Mel said they were one of her favorite acts to date. The same for the other judges. They couldn’t wait to give them four yesses. Girish and the Chronicles are set for a great season. Up next was a blast from the past.

Two brothers that previously made it to the Semifinals on Season 14 were back to try again. There was a third brother last time and he sat out this time around because he has two kids now.

They were the Massoudi Brothers. The two remaining brothers also changed things up. They were a balance act back then. Now they were using knives.

They juggled knives and were getting undressed while doing so. They were juggling their clothes too. They even managed to put their clothes back on all while never losing a beat. One of them ripped a hole in his jacket as he was putting it back on. Mel loved their act. She gave them a Golden Buzzer. She beat out Sofia to it by mere seconds. You gotta be quicker, Sofia!

The final act of the night was another returning favorite. Alez Zinger! He’s a dancer. He received some “constructive criticisms” last time that he claims to have taken to heart.

He worked on himself. He came back with backup dancers. He danced to “What Is Love”. He lived out his very early 2000s dream. The backup dancers outdanced Alex tonight. They had choreography. Alex was doing his own thing. Simon later said it was interesting. He gave a yes. Howie gave him a yes. Mel gave him a yes. And Sofia was pressured into giving him a yes.

THE END!
