Kate Middleton Winning: Prince George Prefers Commoner Friends at School, Queen Elizabeth Disgusted

Kate Middleton is winning and must be delighted that Prince George likes spending time with his commoner, non-artistocratic, friends at nursey school. Queen Elizabeth is probably disgusted that the third-in-line to the throne is prefers playing with his non-aristocratic chums – the fact that little George, the future King of England, attends nursery school already appals the ancient monarch!

Elizabeth would prefer to see Prince George locked away in a palace surrounded by governesses and private royal tutors – like she was in her youth. What Kate still doesn’t quite get is that according to the Queen and senior royals her role is to bear children, not to raise them! Here’s a tip Great-grandma, this out-dated mode of living might work for Kim Kardashian and lots of Hollywood fake moms, but it is never happening while Kate and Carole Middleton are running the show!

An insider divulged to Hello!, “George is settling into nursery very well and [the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge] continue to be very grateful for the widespread support they have received.” It is wonderful that Prince George has taken so well to the Montessori school, don’t you think? Forming friendships in an organic manner is much better than having a mate thrust upon you because the child is from the right kind of family.

Having commoner buddies will at least give Prince George a fighting chance at enjoying a somewhat normal childhood. The wee ones at Westacre don’t understand that their classmate will be King someday. To the students at the nursery school he is simply George, not Prince George, not Queen Elizabeth’s grandson.

Prince William and Kate Middleton want Prince George and Princess Charlotte to enjoy a common childhood. Playdates with sticky-fingered chums hyped up on sugar running through the rooms of Anmer Hall? Enjoying birthday parties with paper hats, balloons and noisemakers? Isn’t that what little children are supposed to do?

Grandmum Carole Middleton must be thrilled that Prince George is mingling with little boys and girls who aren’t of noble birth. It just reinforces Carole’s influence over Prince William and Duchess Kate, doesn’t it?

But Carole Middleton can’t take all the credit for George participating in ordinary childhood activities. Long before the Middleton matriarch was in the picture Princess Diana insisted Prince William and Prince Harry enjoy going to McDonalds and amusement parks.

Kate Middleton and Prince William are doing their very best to ensure that Prince George has as much fun as any young boy in England. At only two-and-half-years-old George needs only to enjoy life and not worry about cultivating the right kind of friendships. There will be time enough for that in the many decades before Prince George becomes King.
