CDL’s so excited to introduce you to another great band: The Vim Dicta, a psych rock trio with a really unique sound! Tonight at 6 PM EST the band will be taking over our Twitter @celebdirtylaund to host an epic rock party where they’ll answer your questions, introduce you to their music, and tell you a little bit about what makes them tick as people — and as artists.
The Vim Dicta just laid down five new tracks with engineers Shelly Yakus (John Lennon, Tom Petty, Patti Smith) and Niko Bolas (Neil Young, Warren Zevon) at Capitol Records Studios. With absolutely no overdubs allowed, the band prides itself on generating an authentic rock and roll sound that’s sure to be of intrigue to many rock music enthusiasts.
They employ techniques from the golden era of recording. Sounds fancy! Stop by the Twitter Party later to grill them on their methods. They will be releasing their new 5-song EP, entitled “Von Tango,” on October 21st.
