Johnny Depp, Amber Heard Married: Johnny Guilted Amber To Say “I Do” With His Dying Mother Betty Sue

After one of the longest celebrity engagements ever, Johnny Depp and his girlfriend, Amber Heard, finally tied the knot in a private wedding on February 3rd 2015. Although Johnny popped the question to Amber Heard over two years ago, everyone was shocked that the couple finally said “I Do,” especially since they were on the verge of a break-up just two months ago when it was revealed that Johnny Depp was boozing more than usual, and then he made a drunken ass of himself at the Hollywood Film Awards.

It’s no secret that Amber Heard game fiancé Johnny Depp an ultimatum – get sober or now wedding. And Johnny Depp is far from sober, so why did she go through with the wedding? Well, according to a new report from Life & Style Magazine, Johnny used his dying mother to guilt Amber in to going through with the nuptials. A course explained to L&S, “He convinced Amber to have a small ceremony at their LA home, just to get the legal part out of the way. More importantly the nuptials were done with Johnny’s mom Betty Sue in mind. She’s too frail to travel, she couldn’t make it to their destination wedding on Little Hall’s Pond Cay.”

Sure, Amber and Johnny may have gotten married regardless of his mother’s health. Let’s be real. Who would turn down a chance to dip their hands in a $100 Million fortune – and the chance to be on “the Johnny Depp’s arm?” But, you have to admit, it seems a little suspicious that after threatening to dump Johnny Depp earlier this year, Amber did a complete 180 and decided to marry him in their LA home just so that his mother could be there. More than one source is reporting that Johnny used his mother’s poor health to rush Amber to the altar because he was concerned if they didn’t get married soon – it wasn’t going to happen at all.

Do you think that Amber Heard and Johnny Depp’s marriage will last? Would Amber have still married Johnny if his mother wasn’t dying? Do you think that she may regret her decision to ignore his drinking issues later? Let us know what you think in the comments below!
