Robin Williams’ widow Susan Schneider has infuriated the comedian’s children with possible plans to write a tell-all book. Haven’t Robin’s children Zelda, Zachary and Cody been hurt enough by Susan? Zelda Williams, Zachary Williams and Cody Williams found out just how sick Robin was when the rest of the world did. Susan didn’t even have the courtesy to contact Robin’s children before going to the press with information about Robin’s health problems.
It has been nearly 2 years since the world was shocked by the news that the funniest man in the world had taken his own life. Following Robin’s tragic death Susan revealed that the Academy Award winner was suffering from Parkinson’s disease and Lewy body dementia which is a degenerative brain disorder.
Susan Schneider has given interview after interview since Robin’s death. During these interviews Susan revealed that Robin was preparing to enter an institution to deal not only with his physical health problems, but continued anxiety and depression.
The man who filled the entire world with laughter valued his privacy and these things are not something Robin would have wanted made public. A family friend told In Touch Magazine,” [Robin] would have hated this. Robin’s family has a big team of lawyers, and they don’t want this to happen.”
Susan Schneider would make millions of dollars if the Williams’ family can’t keep Robin’s widow from publishing a book about her private life with the comedian. InTouch Magazine did reach out to Susan’s attorney to find out if she is has any plans to write or may have already begun writing a book about her marriage to Robin Williams.
The lawyer would not address any questions regarding a book deal but did say, “Susan is currently focused on raising awareness around Lewy body dementia, the disease that took her husband’s life and affects more than 1.4 million people nationwide, for which there is no cure.”
In the days following Robin’s death family, friends and fans were all shocked when Robin’s widow Susan Schneider revealed details about Robin’s deteriorating health. A book revealing more details about Robin Williams’ private life would only benefit Susan and further devastate his children Zelda, Zachary and Cody.
