“The Young and the Restless” (Y&R) spoilers for this week’s episodes from Monday, May 30, to Friday, June 3, tease that Billy and Victoria find some common ground as exes. Y&R spoilers tell us that Jill faces off with Hilary and learns a shocking secret, Adam continues to fight for his life, and Sharon’s guilt is all-consuming.
Adam Newman (Justin Hartley) will insist to Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) that Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) set him up but they need tissue samples from Constance Bingham’s (Sally Kellerman) body to run tests to exonerate him.
That means they need to exhume her and Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) is the key to getting permission. Nick is hanging with Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) and Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) who are the world’s most terrible liars.
Has he not noticed their furtive and guilt-ridden glances? Maybe his grief has made him oblivious. The Young and the Restless spoilers say Sharon flips when he notices Sully’s cowlick and thinks it may reveal their biological link. Nick will chat up Adam and considers helping until he notices some evidence.
Adam has Sage Newman’s (Kelly Sullivan) journal copies and is searching them looking for info on who’s framing him but Nick thinks they’re invading his dead wife’s privacy and flips. Can he look past that issue and will Nick agree to have Constance exhumed… Y&R spoilers say he will.
Kevin Fisher (Greg Rikaart) chooses Natalie Soderberg (Mara McCaffray) over Mariah – and they share a sweet kiss but will he waver later? Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) figures out that Summer Newman (Hunter King) was lying about the oil rig at the press conference.
He goes to inform Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) about the fib since he knows she was in the dark and finds her shaking hands with Luca Santori (Miles Villanueva) and cautions her about the snake. But Victoria may play along because she doesn’t want Luca exposing her new affair.
Mariah struggles to keep Sharon’s secret when Dylan McAvoy (Steve Burton) presses her on what’s going on with his wife who’s acting nuttier than usual. Nick later asks Sharon if it’s okay to keep a secret that lets someone else suffer.
This strikes a chord with Sharon, but what is Nick talking about? Does he know something about Sage’s journal that could exonerate his brother? Or is this about another matter altogether? Summer asks Luca to move in with her but then later questions his motives.
Summer overhears Luca talking about the oil spill issue and it doesn’t jive with what he told her so she pushes back hard. Things are made worse when he misspeaks and contradicts himself. In the end, though, Summer gives her sweetie the benefit of the doubt.
Chelsea won’t let Adam give up the fight even though the evidence is piled up against him. Nikki Newman (Melody Scott) defends Neil Winters (Kristoff St John) while Nikki wonders if cutting Victor out of her life is really the best path.
Jill Abbott (Jess Walton) and Hilary Curtis (Mishael Morgan) fight to see who will get the limelight and this catfight is gaining momentum. Travis (Michael Roarke) finds out this week who he’s been sleeping with and isn’t happy to discover “Tori” is the Newman CEO.
Victor and Dr Meredith Gates (Alicia Coppola) bond and get closer but by the end of the week, Victor is busted. Is this about Adam? Or his manipulation of Meredith to help him get out of jail early? Is Victor still hell bent on revenge or is he finally softening?
Stitch Rayburn (Sean Carrigan) and Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) get an update on Max Rayburn (Jared Breeze). Looks like it is not good news. Is Max making trouble at the mental hospital? Did he escape? What is up with the malevolent kid?
Billy and Victoria share a glass of wine this week and seem to be finding peace even though each realizes the other is moving on, although both are facing love troubles. Phyllis Abbott (Gina Tognoni) is still fighting her feelings for Billy and Travis considers kicking Victoria to the curb.
Phyllis and Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) have a spat and she goes to Chancellor Park to walk it off but runs into Billy who tries again to convince her to be with him. She knows she should walk away but instead goes for a motorcycle ride with him.
There’s a wreck and the bike is busted up and Billy is injured. Phyllis tries to cover her tracks. Will she creep away from the crash if she’s uninjured so Jack won’t know she was with his brother? Jill makes a shocking discovery this week – could it be about Phyllis and Billy?
Jack breaks the bad news about Billy to Jill – looks like at the GCAC as they’re making the big Kay Chancellor dedicated wing announcement at an event for Jack and Neil’s charity. Jill is stunned – poor Billy keeps winding up at death’s door. How badly is he hurt?
By week’s end, Adam has a new scheme brewing that has Chelsea very concerned. She questions his motives and then Adam makes a choice that could change both of their lives forever – but will it be for the better or the worse?
