General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Sam’s (Kelly Monaco) mental state will continue to decline. It’s clear that Sam is suffering from a severe illness, but she hasn’t received a proper diagnosis yet. Sam isn’t willing to disclose all of her symptoms, so that’s obviously making it difficult for her doctor to sort things out.
It appears Sam will hide the truth for a while and that could have catastrophic consequences. General Hospital is definitely building toward an exciting climax. General Hospital spoilers indicate that Sonny (Maurice Bernard) and Julian (William deVry) will both be at risk. Sam’s deadly desires should lead to some dangerous situations.
Once everything blows up, the truth about Sam’s visions will come to light. General Hospital spoilers tell us that Jason (Billy Miller) and the rest of Sam’s loved ones will realize just how serious this is. That’s when Sam should finally get some answers about her disturbing behavior. She certainly hasn’t been herself lately and there’s a good reason why.
According to a GH insider, it seems Sam may have meningitis. That would explain many of the symptoms she’s been battling. Stiff neck, mental cloudiness and weakness are all important red flags to look for. Delusions can result from the persistent confusion in extreme cases.
Naturally, General Hospital would take the most extreme route possible! That’s just how soaps roll. People with acute meningitis typically exhibit symptoms within hours or a few days, but chronic meningitis is a different story. It can take several weeks for slow-growing organisms to attack the membranes and fluid around the brain.
Pregnancy can also boost a woman’s odds of contracting meningitis. If Sam is indeed suffering from meningitis as the symptoms suggest, she needs help immediately. The longer this goes undetected, the greater the chances of permanent neurological damage. Plus, Julian and Sonny’s lives are on the line.
Of course, GH will undoubtedly let Sam get back to normal sooner or later but possibly not before Steve Burton shows up as the original Jason. Sam should feel horrible about her actions, but there’s no way she could control herself. It’s not Sam’s fault that she’s been on a lethal mission.
