Barry Manilow has married his longtime manager Garry Kief in a secret, private ceremony held last year! Man, celebrities really can keep a secret if they try hard enough…
A friend of Barry and Garry’s [I don’t think they did that on purpose] says the wedding was held at Barry Manilow’s Palms Spring home, with about 20 to 30 guests attending, all of whom were told they were going to a ‘lunch’.
This friend explains, “It was a surprise.” Plus, neither Barry Manilow nor Garry Kief reportedly signed any official forms confirming the marriage, but they are supposedly wearing wedding bands. A source close to Barry confirmed, “They are committed to one another and have been for a very long time. They have a great relationship. Garry has always been there for Barry.”
Some people may be surprised by this news, but people close to Barry say that he’s never tried to hide the fact that he’s gay. If anything, he’s just managed to keep his personal life completely off the media’s radar, which is why the general public might be surprised by this news. Then again, Barry Manilow hasn’t been a media mainstay figure in a long time.
