General Hospital (GH) spoilers have exiting new casting news! Social media is buzzing as actor Hayden Hiebert announced how quickly things rolled at General Hospital filming 6 scenes and 18 pages of script in 2 hours. General Hospital fans cannot help but notice the striking resemblance between Hayden Hiebert and James Patrick Stuart who portrays the current version of Valentin Cassadine.
Since one of the main mystery storylines happening right now is the history between him and Anna Devane (Finola Hughes), GH buzz says it’s not a stretch to assume Hiebert will be playing the younger version of Valentin in upcoming flashback scenes.
Valentin and Anna clearly have a jaded past, and both are questioning what really went on; Valentin seems almost desperate for Anna to remember what they shared and how she deeply betrayed him, breaking his heart; while Anna swears she would have never hurt anyone and his accusations must be false.
General Hospital sources promise that viewers will eventually find out what occurred and its safe to assume Hayden Hiebert’s character will play an intricate part. Although he resembles Valentin, it is not clear yet what age he will play; he could be Valentin while he was still in the boarding school, or he could he the man Valentin transformed into after he claims Anna rejected him while they were in the WSB.
We would like to welcome Hayden Hiebert to the General Hospital family and we look forward to see how he fits in to all the WSB drama, and his connection to some key players. Of course there is no official GH notice that Hayden is playing a younger Valentin as of yet – he could be a janitor at General Hospital! For those of you who don’t know Hayden Hiebert, he is still fairly new to the Hollywood scene, arriving in 2009 and appearing in series like CSI: Cyber and TV mini series Andrew’s Games.
