General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Patient Six (Steve Burton) will continue his mission to get home. He’s doing everything in his power to make it back to the people he loves, but there’s a big problem. Sam believes Jason (Billy Miller) already returned to her. She has no reason to think that the real Jason is out there somewhere.
Of course, GH hasn’t told us which twin is Drew (despite lots of heavy-handed clues) and they probably won’t for quite some time. General Hospital spoilers reveal that they’ll milk this drama for all it’s worth. Nevertheless, the true identities of these men may not even matter. Sam’s (Kelly Monaco) feelings are what will ultimately count.
Naturally, Jake (Hudson West) and Danny (T.K. Weaver) will struggle with some issues as well. Sonny (Maurice Benard) and Carly (Laura Wright) will also find a way to make this all about them as usual! However, we can’t forget about what poor Patient Six has been through and what’s still to come.
Let’s break down this General Hospital storyline. If Patient Six is indeed Jason, he’s been isolated for years. It must’ve been brutal to think about Sam and his kids living without him. At the same time, classic Jason’s family is what’s kept him going. He’s clinging to the hope that it’s not too late to recapture what he’s lost.
Imagine old Jason’s heartbreak when he realizes Sam has moved on. To make matters worse, it’s a case of mistaken identity. Burton’s Jason will feel like everything’s been ripped away from him. It seems his twin brother is living the life he was meant to have.
After the shock wears off, Burton’s Jason will undoubtedly fight for his family. It’s tough to believe the real Jason would just admit defeat immediately. Still, things are going to be incredibly complicated. We’ll see plenty of confusion and conflict in the months ahead.
Is it too late for classic Jason to get his old life back? Will this weary character have to start a new one instead? That might not be too difficult if Patient Six turns out to be Oscar’s (Garren Stitt) father. At least he might have someone else to focus on down the road.
Regardless, Burton’s Jason will inevitably face more despair. His world will crumble once he sees the changes back in Port Charles. We’ll give you updates as other GH news comes in.
