The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers and recap for Monday, January 16, tease that Devon (Bryton James) will try to get to the bottom of his accident. He’ll discuss his dreams with Hilary (Mishael Morgan) and wonder why he was in the vehicle alone. Hilary will lie that Devon took his new car for a spin after they enjoyed the countdown together.
As Devon continues to ponder the details, Cane (Daniel Goddard) will arrive. Hilary will do her best to send him away, but Devon will insist on having a visit. After Hilary leaves, Devon will try to get some answers from Cane. He’ll be told to just concentrate on getting better.
At GC Buzz, Jack (Peter Bergman) will give Hilary updates on all the persistent reporters. He’ll note that the truth could come out despite Hilary’s efforts to keep things quiet. Jack will feel like Hilary needs to confess as soon as Stitch (Sean Carrigan) will let her. It might be Hilary’s only shot at saving her marriage.
Later, Y&R spoilers say Devon will notice that Hilary seems anxious. She’ll eventually blurt out that they can’t go on like this. Hilary will try to fill Devon in on what really happened the night of the crash. Devon will interrupt to suggest that they’ll change from this moment on. He’ll think everything is going to be better.
At Brash and Sassy, Reed (Tristan Lake Leabu) will stop by to retrieve his phone. He’ll thank Billy (Jason Thompson) again for the help. Once Reed is gone, Victoria (Amelia Heinle) will ask if Billy was assisting with more than homework. Billy will fib at first, but he’ll eventually admit it was guy stuff. He’ll think it’s nice that Reed is being open about that sort of thing.
When a model cancels, Billy and Victoria will realize they have a dilemma on their hands. They’ll call Jill (Jess Walton) and she’ll offer Lily (Christel Khalil) as a replacement. Lily will put on a red dress and pose as a photographer takes pictures. Cane (Daniel Goddard) will walk in and look intrigued.
After Lily wraps up the shoot, the gang will shower her with praise. However, Billy won’t think Cane seems like he’s on board with it. Jill will hint that her vote is the only one that counts. Meanwhile, The Young and the Restless spoilers say Reed will continue to stir up trouble. At home, he’ll use Victoria’s credit card for an adult website.
Once the babysitter brings his siblings in, Reed will quickly shut his laptop. Victoria will find the credit card on the desk later and she’ll confront her son. Reed will lie that he didn’t put it there, but will Victoria really believe that? She may suspect that Reed is keeping a few secrets.
