The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers tease that Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) and Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) really want to do the right thing by Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood).
They have been enjoying their reunion and their time with Beth Spencer (River Davidson and Madeline Valdez), but they’re well-aware that things with Steffy could get hairy going forward. So far, Steffy has been off-screen just trying to adjust to her new reality, which is back to being the mom of one daughter.
It’s got to be tough on her, but she won’t be able to stay isolated with Kelly Spencer (Chloe Teperman and Zoe Pennington) at the cliff house forever. After all, Kelly and Beth are sisters, and both Steffy and Lope will want to forge a relationship between the two.
Steffy Forrester Has To Come To Terms With Beth Circumstances
Play dates will need to be had, overnight visits will eventually occur, and Steffy will have to come to terms with being simply an adult role model in Beth’s life. That’s going to be tough, given that she raised Beth for several months and formed a solid bond with her.
Let’s face it, it was going to be tough under normal circumstances for Steffy and Lope to manage their blended family. B&B viewers will remember that back when Hope was pregnant with Beth, she balked at the idea of Taylor Hayes (Hunter Tylo) being a part of Kelly’s life, and at one point she even stated that Beth and Kelly could not be sisters if Taylor was going to be around. Well, certainly, Taylor will be back at some point, and that sticking point will come back up.
But in the meantime, we anticipate that Lope and Steffy will have some serious adjustment problems as they try to manage Liam’s time between his two families. Now that Hope and Liam are officially back together, it seems that he’ll be spending most of his time with Hope and Beth, and one wonders whether Steffy will start to feel like she and Kelly are just an afterthought to Liam. It’s going to be a tricky situation for Liam, for sure.
In Her Heart The Little Girl Was Hers And She Will Mourn Phoebe
But that’s probably going to be nothing compared to what Steffy ends up going through as she continues to mourn the loss of “Phoebe Forrester.” Of course, intellectually Steffy knows that “Phoebe” is really Beth, and that “Phoebe” never really belonged to her. But in her heart, that little girl was hers, and it’s going to be terribly painful at any family gathering, play date, or the like, as she has to watch Hope be mother to Beth.
Fortunately, Hope and Liam seem to be aware of how difficult the whole situation is going to be on Steffy, but at some point, they’re all going to have to get together for the first time, and it will be exceedingly difficult for Steffy to take. She’ll need plenty of support to get through it, and she’ll probably find herself wanting to dote on Beth and offer advice to Hope on Beth’s likes and needs, and that kind of attention might not be welcome.
At any rate, it will be interesting to watch Hope, Liam, and Steffy navigate their new reality, as Steffy continues to cope with her immeasurable loss while Lope revel in their happy family.
