The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers tease that Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) will have to pull out all the stops. He feels confident Hope Logan’s (Annika Noelle) view of him has changed, but he’ll soon run into some snags. As a result, Thomas’ plan to become a couple with Hope will need some extra ammo. He may soon realize he’s got the perfect strategy sitting right in front of him.
During the week of December 2-6, Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) will be ready for a fierce faceoff. She’ll be fed up with Hope for going after Douglas Forrester (Henry Joseph Samiri) and stringing Thomas along. Steffy will probably feel like Hope’s still going to pull something. She’ll make it clear that she doesn’t trust Hope – especially since Hope kept quiet about Thomas’ death.
Of course, Hope may argue that she’s trying to get past Thomas’ own deception and focus on Douglas. She’ll feel like Douglas’ well-being is what really matters here. However, Steffy’s sure to take a dig or two about neglected Beth Spencer (River Davidson and Madeline Valdez). After all, B&B fans have seen far more scenes of Steffy bonding with the baby formerly known as “Phoebe” lately.
The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say their confrontation will escalate, so this could turn into a war that Thomas can use to his advantage. If he fuels Steffy and Hope’s hatred for each other, perhaps it’ll bring Thomas closer to his goal of a united “Thope” family.
Thomas could easily serve as a sounding board for Hope. He could encourage Hope to vent and trash his sister right along with her. Thomas’ obsession runs deep, so he’ll say whatever he has to say if it means scoring points. He may rant about how Steffy doesn’t understand how amazing and selfless Hope is. Thomas might suggest this all boils down to Beth and advise Hope to keep Steffy away from her.
Naturally, that wouldn’t fly at all for Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton)! Thomas knows how close Liam is to his ex, which he can certainly use to gain the upper hand. He could try to convince Hope that Steffy’s overstepping and trying to play mom again. Thomas may act like Steffy feels entitled to since Hope adopted Douglas Forrester (Henry Joseph Samiri), a child Steffy feels wasn’t Hope’s to take.
Liam would obviously try to set Hope straight and make her view this as Thomas’ manipulation. However, Beth is a sensitive subject for Steffy and Hope. Thomas is also a pretty skilled manipulator, so when you combine that with the reignited rivalry – it could spell trouble!
The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Thomas will have to get creative in his pursuit of Hope. Maybe working the Beth angle would be a solid tactic. Liam wouldn’t want Hope trying to keep Beth away from Steffy, so it could set up a “Lope” separation and eventual custody battle. There’d be a lot of places to go with that story.
