General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Trina Robinson (Sydney Mikayla) has decided to embark on a new mission. As Trina recently told Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy), she wants to do whatever she can to clear her father’s name.
Trina simply cannot believe that Marcus Taggert (Réal Andrews) conspired to frame Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober), and she’s determined to look into the matter and prove that her dad was an honorable, stand-up guy.
Of course, GH viewers know that Taggert is indeed an honorable guy, but back in the day, he and his partners – including Jordan Ashford (Briana Nicole Henry) – made the very human decision to frame Cyrus for the greater good.
Flash forward many years, and now Cyrus is a free man and Jordan is under his thumb. At this point, the only reason that Jordan is still alive is because she’s useful to Cyrus as the police commissioner.
Indeed, Cyrus has already asked Jordan for a case file, and he’s going to keep asking for favor after favor going forward. But might Trina and Josslyn’s plan to go searching for information about Taggert’s supposed innocence jeopardize Jordan’s well-being, and even her life?
General Hospital spoilers say the teens could very likely find something implicating Jordan.
As General Hospital viewers know, Josslyn and Trina decided that they were going to start by looking into old case files, and they’ll probably zero in on the files detailing the “evidence” that ultimately put Cyrus away.
But since Jordan, Taggert, and their other team members fabricated that evidence, there might be some indication of who exactly did the fabricating/planting of evidence in those files.
Cameron Webber (William Lipton) and Dev Corbin (Ashton Arbab) could get involved in the search as well, and together the teens could even hack into files or evidence rosters.
GH viewers know that Jordan was just as involved in Cyrus’ framing as was Taggert, so there’s a good chance that the teens could find clear evidence that Taggert was dirty, but so was Jordan!
Now, if Trina makes that discovery, she’s going to be livid, especially since Jordan has been pretending this whole time that she had nothing to do with framing Cyrus. Of course,
GH viewers know that Jordan’s decision to turn her partners in for framing Cyrus was all Cyrus’ idea, and that Cyrus wanted to keep Jordan “clean” because he wanted her under his thumb as police commissioner.
But to Trina, Jordan’s actions would seem reprehensible, and she’d probably go right to Jordan and make a big public scene about how Jordan was a hypocrite and blamed Taggert for something that she participated in as well.
And if Trina does that, then Cyrus is going to be pretty peeved, because he wants Jordan to stay in the police commissioner post.
It seems like the closer Trina and the other teens get to uncovering Jordan’s true role in framing Cyrus, the more danger they could find themselves in. After all, if Cyrus finds out that Trina et al. are snooping around in things they shouldn’t be learning, he might decide to take action, and that could be grim.
Cyrus didn’t hesitate to kidnap Cameron and Trina before and put them in harm’s way, so it’s not out of the question that he could try to harm the teens for getting too close to implicating Jordan.
We’ll see what happens here, but Trina’s quest to clear her dad’s name could certainly end up putting her, Cameron, Josslyn, Dev, and Jordan in harm’s way. Do you think that Trina will end up finding out about Jordan’s role in framing Cyrus?
