The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Thursday, October 1, tease that Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) will be on damage control duty! As COO of Newman Enterprises and the matriarch of the Newman family, Nikki will feel doubly obligated to contain the crisis.
Of course, Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) will be the main reason for that crisis due to unleashing the Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) story on the public.
Even so, there’ll be plenty of blame to go around. Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) was in on this with Billy, though she seems to have been battling some second thoughts about their partnership lately.
However, what’s done is done – and that means Victoria will have to deal with the fallout of this Newman family scandal.
Nikki will do whatever she can to help, but she may end up lashing out at Victoria, too. Pointing fingers won’t help much, but that won’t stop it from happening! Will Victoria express any regret for her role in all this or will she stand her ground and argue Adam deserves it along with Victor?
Regardless, Y&R spoilers say Victor and Adam will indeed land in hot water – and so will the team at Chancellor Communications. Billy’s going to get put on blast at the office thanks to his impulsive decision to publish the story.
Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) will be first in line to berate Billy over this, but Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) may not be far behind.
Amanda sometimes finds it exhausting to always be the one who has to contain Billy’s worst desires – mostly because it never works! She’s also not fond of always having to clean up messes when Billy inevitably screws up.
This will certainly be one of Billy’s worst messes yet, so the Chance Comm team will have to do some damage control of their own.
Other Young and the Restless spoilers say Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) will be in protective mom mode. This will involve Faith Newman (Alyvia Alyn Lind), who’s been nervous about Sharon’s second surgery lately.
Sharon may downplay her own concerns about her future to make sure Faith feels reassured.
Then again, this might involve the article that smears Faith’s uncle and beloved grandpa. Sharon may not think it’s a good idea to pile that on Faith right now, so she might hope she can hide the story – at least until after her surgery.
Unfortunately, that plan won’t work for long since Faith’s age group practically lives on the Internet. Sharon’s sweet to show off her protective side, but there won’t be much she can do to shield Faith from the drama ahead. That goes for the rest of Sharon’s cancer crisis and the Newman scandal fallout.
