The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Week of May 17 – Chelsea Wants Forgiveness – Kyle & Ashland Battle On - Rey's Vow to Sharon

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for the week of May 17-21 tease that Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) will want forgiveness while Amanda Sinclair (Karla Mosley) plays a dangerous game. As for Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor), his battle with Ashland Locke (Richard Burgi) will be back on.

In the aftermath of Kyle’s engagement party shocker, he’ll find himself in a tight spot with Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman). It looks like Jack will have some suspicions about Harrison Locke, but Kyle will manage to cover up the truth and keep Jack from finding out about his biological son just yet.

Later, Kyle will have another fierce faceoff with Ashland Locke, so it seems the truce will be over. Ashland may be out for blood if he’s discovered Harrison’s true paternity, but Kyle will hold his own against the enemy and try to prevent another Jabot disaster.

However, that plan could go right out the window after Kyle makes a stunning choice. Kyle will ultimately reach a major decision that could affect his future, so it seems he may decide he wants to be a dad to Harrison after all. Kyle may have quite a fight on his hands if he wants to go up against Ashland for custody rights!

Other Y&R spoilers say Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson) will deliver a reminder about Adam Newman’s (Mark Grossman) harsh reality. Adam may be turning his life around, but that doesn’t mean he won’t take a couple digs about Chloe being Chelsea’s accomplice.

Of course, Chloe may remind Adam that he’s the one who drove Chelsea off the rails. Chloe had no idea Chelsea would take things so far, but the whole problem originated with Adam and his treatment of Chelsea.

Speaking of treatment, Chelsea should get that whether she likes it or not at her new psychiatric facility. Chelsea plans to fake her recovery there over time, but perhaps this mental hospital stint could actually be good for her in the long run.

As for Chloe, she’ll be defended by Kevin Fisher (Greg Rikaart). We’ll see if Kevin backs Chloe up in a confrontation with Adam or if it’s Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) who Chloe has to face again. Chelsea will eventually ask someone for forgiveness, so maybe she’ll apologize to Chloe and get a pass from her bestie.

Meanwhile, Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) and Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) will stand as a team against the competition. Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) is still coming for ChancComm and may make his first real move now that Adam’s on the mend as well as a free man.

Billy and Lily will be willing to get down in the mud with Victor, but Victor will think he’s got the upper hand in the war that’s brewing. When it comes to Adam and Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow), Victor will hope he can convince the brothers to put their feud to rest.

Nick and Adam are well on their way to peace due to Adam’s kidney donation for Faith Newman (Reylynn Caster), so Victor will have that in his favor.

Back with Rey, he’ll make a crucial vow to Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) – and Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will keep Nick in the dark on a secret she’s keeping from him.

Next, Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) will have big plans for Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes). There’ll be some surprise in store that’s sure to warm Mariah’s heart as her pregnancy moves forward.

Finally, The Young and the Restless spoilers say Amanda will leave Imani Benedict (Leigh-Ann Rose) with no choice. Amanda won’t cooperate in the way Imani wants, so it’ll be interesting to see what exactly Imani decides to do about that!

We’ll pass along updates as other Y&R news emerges. Some great stuff’s coming up during the week of May 17-21, so stay tuned for some hot drama. CDL will have lots of other Young and the Restless spoilers, updates and news, so pop back in frequently.
