Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers recap for Wednesday, February 23, reveals that Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) exploded over Tony DiMera’s (Thaao Penghlis) marriage while Anna DiMera (Leann Hunley) pushed TR Coates (William Christian) to fight for Lani Price-Grant (Sal Stowers) – though Anna didn’t have all the facts! Here’s how all the Days drama played out.
First on Wednesday’s DOOL episode, Paulina Price (Jackée Harry) kicked TR out after he paid her a visit to insist he had changed.
TR wound up at the DiMera mansion, where he heard Anna’s pitch about playing Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) in the possession movie.
Since the role called for a younger version of Kristen, TR suggested he’d keep Anna in mind for other projects.
That led to Anna pitching one about her life called “Bewitched: The Anna DiMera Story.”
Anna thought it would be a wonderful movie and mentioned Renee DuMonde (Philece Sampler) being the villain.
When Anna learned TR recently found out he had a daughter and was being kept away from her, she urged TR not to let anything stand in the way of him and his little girl!
While Anna worked on the treatment for the new film, TR returned to his hotel room.
After Eli Grant (Lamon Archey) got the scoop on all the biological father drama, he decided to pay TR a visit.
Eli flashed his badge upon arrival and let TR know he meant business.
TR referred to himself as Eli’s father-in-law, but Eli corrected him since Abe Carver (James Reynolds) was his father-in-law and one of the best men he knew.
Eli made it clear that if TR messed with any of the Price women, then TR would answer to him.
Back with Paulina on Wednesday’s Days episode, she called Abe for help with an emergency and was armed with a baseball bat when he showed up.
Paulina explained how “Ray” aka TR came to town as a hotshot movie producer and found out Lani was his bio daughter.
Abe was concerned about Lani and agreed to check on her, but first he made sure Paulina was OK to stay alone.
At Lani’s apartment, she chuckled as Abe pushed for “the tea.”
Abe suggested he understood if Lani wanted to know more about her biological father, but he wanted her to be careful due to TR’s troubling history.
Lani assured Abe that she was merely curious about TR. She added that Abe was her dad and said she knew that now.
On the island, Kristen explained how she gave Sarah some books to read, including Renee’s “tortured memoir.”
Sarah devoured Renee’s diary at warp speed and absorbed the memories as if they were her own.
Kristen suggested nothing that could be done about that and left Abigail to read the diary while she searched for Sarah.
In the storm bunker, “Renee” told Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) and Kayla Johnson (Mary Beth Evans) that Sarah was a toddler.
“Renee” also laughed at the notion that she was a doctor and recapped some memories – including how she drilled a hole in Anna’s boat and caused her to lose her baby.
Kayla and Steve humored Sarah somewhat until they could get out of there. They listened as “Renee” talked about Tony being the love of her life.
“Renee” said they were tragically forced apart when she found out Stefano DiMera (Joseph Mascolo) was her birth father, but then they found out Stefano wasn’t Tony’s birth father – leaving them truly meant to be.
When “Renee” learned Tony married Anna again, she flew into a rage.
“Renee” wanted to get off that island and tear Anna limb from limb.
However, “Renee” acted like Tony could just annul that sham of a marriage and marry her next.
“Renee” explained that Kristen told her a serial killer was on the loose in Salem and wouldn’t let her leave.
Steve promised that he wouldn’t let Kristen stop them from making their island getaway.
Soon after, Steve and Kayla drew their flare guns on Kristen at the main house.
Kristen was glad to see they had met “Renee,” who was annoyed when Kayla and Steve once again referred to her as Sarah.
After Steve and Kayla demanded to know if Sarah had been brainwashed or something, they found out Abigail was also on the island.
Kristen noted that Abigail was currently curled up with a good book.
Days of Our Lives spoilers say Kristen will try to clean up this island mess, but more problems are headed her way.
