The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers tease that Deacon Sharpe’s (Sean Kanan) impulsive decision to run could tip Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) off to trouble. Now that Deacon has given Paul (Hollis W. Chambers) that bogus story about getting funding together in Italy, there are bound to be problems.
Deacon was clearly worried about his connection to Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) catching up with him, especially since he deleted the security footage for her.
It seems like Deacon would rather make a run for it than stick around and risk getting caught!
However, there could be issues if Hope stops by Deacon’s apartment and sees that he’s nowhere to be found.
Hope’s next logical move would be to check in with Paul at the bar and see if he knows anything.
That may be why B&B writers had Deacon tell Paul all those phony excuses about his parole officer signing off on this Italy trip.
Deacon acted like he wanted to gather up the funding to buy Il Giardino and turn it into Deacon’s Place, but Hope may think all this sounds suspicious.
Instead of letting Deacon bolt without an explanation, the show had him confide a faux version of events to Paul.
It seems likely Paul will spread that fake story to Hope sooner or later, so she may grow concerned when she realizes the whole thing sounds shady.
Hope recently defended Deacon to Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) and John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan).
Despite Finn and Steffy’s decision to question Deacon, Hope just didn’t believe her dad would get tangled up in Sheila’s latest mess.
Although Hope thinks Deacon is a changed man, she may soon realize he can’t be trusted.
This could be another lesson in that department now that Hope’s learned one from manipulative Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson).
Of course, this betrayal may hurt even worse since it’s coming from Hope’s own father.
Hope might even get updates from Deacon’s parole officer and learn he’s missed a check-in – or at least that he’s in danger of missing one soon.
Deacon’s going to look guilty if he moves full-speed ahead with this getaway plan, so it’s possible he’ll realize that and pump the brakes.
That’d be for the best since Deacon will look incredibly guilty if he disappears now.
There’s still time for Deacon to change his mind about hiding out somewhere, but staying would also be quite a gamble.
Deacon has dug a major hole for himself that’ll be incredibly difficult to climb out of, but he’ll fight to keep himself free.
