The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) may get jealous as Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) and Daniel Romalotti Jr. (Michael Graziadei) reconnect. Will Lily’s ex-husband shake up her current romance?
Billy and Lily always try to convince themselves they’re on solid ground, but are they really?
It seems like Lily and Billy are constantly finding something to clash about.
Now that Billy has walked away from the podcasts – something he was passionate about and truly loved doing – there’s bound to be trouble.
Billy made a sacrifice so he could devote more of his time to the COO role, so he’s bound to resent Lily for that eventually.
Of course, Billy also feels like an outsider at Chancellor-Winters and has been worried about the out-of-control conflict there.
It just feels like Billy and Lily are out of sync, even if they aren’t willing to admit it yet.
We can’t forget about that kiss Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) planted on Billy either.
Lily was just expected to accept that it meant nothing to Billy and move on, but how would Billy feel if the situation were reversed?
Billy deserves at least a little taste of what that’s like and could get it once Daniel is back in town this fall.
Lily and Daniel had a very passionate forbidden love story once upon a time. These young lovers just couldn’t stay away from each other and eloped at one point.
There’s the potential for Daniel and Lily to feel familiar flying sparks – or Billy could at least fear that’s happening.
If Daniel plants a kiss during his return stint, that’ll be even better!
There’s also a chance Daniel and Lily could become a legitimate couple again if Michael Graziadei sticks around long enough.
However, even a brief return trip could blow up Lily and Billy’s relationship.
Regardless, Y&R has a great opportunity now that Lily’s former flame is coming back into the picture.
