The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Monday, October 10 Update – Victoria Handles Tucker – Ashley Rejects Jack’s Advice

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers update for Monday, October 10, teases that Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) will have a plan to handle Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) while Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) rejects Jack Abbott’s (Peter Bergman) advice.

For starters, Ashley will return to Genoa City and get the Tucker scoop from Jack, who’ll urge his sister to turn down Tucker’s request to meet.

However, Ashley will go against Jack’s warning and hope to find out what Tucker’s true agenda is – especially since she’ll suspect a link to Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters).

At Society, Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) will have a warning of her own, so she’ll tell Tucker about how her family handled Ashland Locke (Robert Newman).

Nikki will point out that Ashland might still be alive if he’d steered clear of the Newmans.

Next on Monday’s Y&R episode, Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will be fake nice to Diane at Jabot, where they’ll talk about Tucker’s Bentley gift for Summer Newman-Abbott (Allison Lanier) and Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor).

Phyllis will clearly be trying to get under Diane’s skin and trip her up, but Diane will act like that car’s way out of her league.

Later, Diane will land in another tight spot when she runs into Tucker and Nikki at Society.

Nikki will get suspicious when Tucker talks about the progress Diane has made, but he’ll insist she must’ve made inroads since she was at the recommitment ceremony.

Diane will continue to act like she hasn’t seen Tucker in forever and will point out they parted ways on bad terms.

That won’t really convince Nikki since Diane and Tucker are both “morally flexible” enough to have a lot in common.

At the coffeehouse, there’ll be tension between Noah Newman (Rory Gibson) and Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver), who’ll refer to Allie Nguyen (Kelsey Wang) as “very cute” and get accused of belittling her.

Noah will warn that he won’t stand for Audra disparaging Allie, so she’ll marvel over how protective he’s being.

After Audra suggests it sounds like Noah is in love, she’ll recall when she was on the receiving end of that love instead.

Noah will act like that was a big mistake and will just want Audra to keep her distance while she’s in town.

At Chancellor Park, Victoria will push Nate for updates on Audra and what she’s like. Nate will admit Audra is sharp, so he has to watch what he says around her.

As for Tucker, Victoria will fear he could throw a wrench in their Chancellor-Winters takeover plans.

After Victoria decides she’ll sit down with Tucker and suss out his intentions, she’ll assure Nate that she won’t tip her hand.

At Chancellor-Winters, Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) will sound the alarm about McCall Unlimited.

Thanks to Billy’s research, he’ll know that Tucker has been selling several acquisitions to boost his cash reserves, so the timing will obviously be disturbing.

After Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) and Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) get that news from Billy, they’ll wait for Audra so they can start their meeting.

Nate will join the meeting as well, so Devon will be surprised he didn’t come with Audra and will take a jab about them being joined at the hip.

Devon will also hint that Nate should perhaps cut back at work so he can focus on Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy).

Once Audra appears, Lily will talk about Tucker potentially making a move for controlling interest in Chancellor-Winters.

Although Devon will suggest holding off on the IPO launch, Nate will think they could catch Tucker off guard if they move faster than expected.

Devon won’t really be comfortable with this situation, but he’ll admit Nate’s strategy might work.

Audra will vow to see what she can do to accelerate their timeline, but Devon will want to chat with her at Crimson Lights in the meantime.

After Audra joins Devon for a cup of coffee, she’ll fish for answers about his issues with Nate and will think she has a knack for reading people.

Back with Nate, he’ll call Victoria to share the latest Tucker alarm bells.

Nate will also urge Victoria to be ready sooner since they may be going public quicker than they first planned.

Elena will eavesdrop briefly before sitting Nate down and trying another tactic.

If Nate won’t back down out of love for her or their relationship, she’ll at least want him to see the risk of doing business with the Newmans.

Elena will act like it’s hard to truly break into the inner circle, even with Nate’s leverage.

Victoria could drop Nate like a hot potato once she gets what she wants, so she’ll worry about this gamble not being worth it.

Back in Lily’s office, she’ll sense that Billy’s heart just isn’t in the COO job.

Billy will confess that Lily is right – that he doesn’t fit in this corporate world or have the same excitement for all the little wins that she does.

After Billy suggests this job will never provide fulfillment, Lily will ask what path would do that for him.

Unfortunately, Billy won’t have the answer to that question – though he’ll wish that he did.

Once Phyllis pops in Jack’s office to discuss work, he’ll be on edge.

Jack will eventually gripe about Tucker wanting Ashley to forgive him, but Phyllis will feel like she’d be a hypocrite to speak against that.

Phyllis will clearly be talking about Jack when she says she always hangs onto hope that forgiveness is possible.

After Ashley texts Tucker to come over to the house, he’ll arrive and start showering her with compliments.

Tucker will begin a speech about how he’s missed Ashley and waited so long for this day, but she’ll want him to save all that and just get honest about his agenda.

The Young and the Restless spoilers say Tucker’s return will lead to other complications in GC, so don’t miss what’s brewing on Y&R.
