General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) decided to sit on the presumably fabricated evidence that Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) left him in his will. Although Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) encouraged Spencer to get rid of that proof, Spencer was wise to hang onto it as an insurance policy.
Of course, Spencer himself may not end up being the one to use that evidence. Nikolas Cassadine (last played by Adam Huss) is still alive and will make a dramatic return sooner or later, so he might use the dirt Victor left behind instead.
GH fans know Nikolas was last seen on life support, but Mason Gatlin (Nathanyael Grey) offered reassurance to someone over the phone about “sleeping beauty.”
Nikolas might be out of his coma by now, so it’ll be interesting to see whether he’s being held hostage or perhaps working with Mason’s boss at this point.
Either way, it’s only a matter of time until Nikolas comes back to Port Charles. When that happens, Nikolas is going to want his youngest son back.
Esme has been raising Ace Cassadine (Jay and Joey Clay) with Spencer’s help, but you can bet Nikolas will try to push her out of the way.
It’s possible Spencer will soften toward Nikolas after everything that’s happened and hand over the evidence against Esme.
Trina was firmly against using proof that wasn’t legit – and Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) offered a warning as well since it was risky to take bogus info to the cops. However, Nikolas might be willing to take that chance once he’s back in the picture.
Even if Spencer doesn’t provide the fake proof, Nikolas might gain access to the safe deposit box anyway.
We’ve seen what Nikolas is like when he’s determined to lock Esme up! Nikolas previously did it himself when he stashed Esme away in that wing of Wyndemere, but now he may hope the next stop for her is prison.
Of course, Nikolas will have some work to do if he hopes to avoid prison himself, but we won’t be surprised if he’s able to bribe a judge or find some other way to avoid charges upon his return.
There’s nothing sneakier than a Cassadine who knows what he wants, so anyone standing in Nikolas’ path better watch out once he’s back in PC!
