General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Ava Jerome (Maura West) will make a huge mistake that could come back to bite her. GH fans know that Sonny doesn’t mess around when it comes to his kids, so Ava can always come to him if there’s ever an issue that affects Avery Corinthos (Ava and Grace Scarola).
That’s why when Ava bashed Nikolas Cassadine (last played by Adam Huss) in the head for threatening to take Avery, she should’ve told Sonny the truth immediately.
Sonny offered to help Ava if she was in any kind of trouble regarding Nikolas, but she’s chosen to leave him out of the loop.
Of course, now Mason Gatlin (Nathanyael Grey) has become a major problem due to how much he knows – though the real problem here is actually Mason and Austin Gatlin Holt’s (Roger Howarth) boss.
Mason informed Ava that she needed to use her connection to Sonny to her advantage and see what she could find out about Pikeman.
Ava will also be asked to complete a mission later – and you can bet the demands are only going to escalate as this storyline moves along.
The week of June 12-16 will bring an opportunity for Ava, so it sounds like the Sonny spy games will officially commence.
What happens if Ava actually gets her hands on information that proves detrimental to Sonny and his business?
If Ava’s successful, she’ll prove she’s of great value and will be forced to do even more dirty work regarding Sonny.
There’ll be no way out, so Ava really needs to confess while she still can and get Sonny’s help fighting back.
Unfortunately, it looks like Ava will deceive Sonny instead, so that could do real damage to the peaceful relationship she’s formed with him lately.
Between Ava’s spy secret and the SEC tipoff secret she’s been keeping for Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros), Sonny may explode over her betrayal.
That could easily lead some Avery custody drama down the road.
The only reason Sonny’s been more willing to let Ava spend extra time with Avery is being on better terms as coparents.
Sonny trusts Ava more than he used to, but that trust will shatter sooner or later.
It could result in severe pain for Ava if Sonny tries to shut her out of Avery’s life in the aftermath of some serious revelations.
