General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) and Ava Jerome’s (Maura West) recent truce will inevitably be short-lived. GH fans know Spencer actually found some common ground with Ava once they realized they were both victims of Ryan Chamberlain’s (Jon Lindstrom) twisted plot.
Ryan coached Esme Prince (Avery Pohl) on how to seduce Spencer at boarding school and lure him back to town to break up Ava’s marriage to Nikolas Cassadine (Adam Huss).
Both Ava and Spencer were pawns in Ryan’s devious game, so that’s helped them move beyond the painful feud of the past.
Of course, this newfound peace would go right out the window if Spencer knew the secret Ava was keeping.
Ava bashed Nikolas in the head and thought she killed him as a result.
Mason Gatlin (Nathanyael Grey) saved Nikolas and stashed him away on life support, but he’s keeping the news of Nik’s survival under wraps.
As a result, Spencer may eventually get the wrong idea about his father’s fate.
There’ll surely be some way for Spencer to discover Ava’s attack on Nikolas and her belief that she killed him that fateful night.
Eavesdropping is a favorite pastime of most GH characters, so that’s a possible path to Spencer learning Nikolas is “dead.”
Regardless, there’ll eventually come a day when Spencer realizes Ava’s the reason why Nik is no longer around.
Ava has been letting everyone believe Nikolas simply fled Port Charles since the walls were closing in.
Spencer feels guilty for driving Nikolas away with his actions, so he may end up furious over Ava’s “deadly” secret.
Ava could face murder accusations once Spencer unleashes his fury and ultimately demands justice.
We’re already seeing shades of Spencer’s vengeful side based on how he’s handling Esme.
Spencer’s revenge on Ava could reinforce that idea and put Trina right in the middle of the drama.
Since Trina cares about both Spencer and Ava, she could definitely wind up torn once the Nik situation explodes.
