The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers update for Thursday, May 23, tease that Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) will get a warm welcome home. She’s been in Paris with Kelly Spencer (Zoe Pennington and Chloe Teperman) and “Phoebe Forrester” (Madeline Valdez) for quite some time, so she’ll enjoy getting back to Los Angeles. Steffy certainly has a lot to catch up on!
The first shocker Steffy will face is the destruction of “Lope’s” marriage. Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) just had a tough discussion with his soon-to-be ex-wife. Although Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) loves Liam and would be with him under better circumstances, she just can’t go on like this. Hope doesn’t want to bear the guilt of keeping Liam and his sweet, gorgeous daughters apart.
“Phoebe” and Kelly can have a full-time dad if Hope steps aside, so that’s exactly what she’s decided to do. Meanwhile, Hope can grow even closer to Douglas Forrester (Henry Joseph Samiri) and be the mom he needs her to be. Steffy will be stunned to learn Liam and Hope’s marriage is really over. She’ll wonder if they’re sure they can’t work through their issues, but Liam will insist a divorce is happening.
Now all Steffy can do is support Liam and help him deal with his heartache. Fortunately, The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say the girls should have a healing effect. Liam’s broken heart won’t mend overnight, but he’ll still get his spirits lifted by Steffy, Kelly and “Phoebe.” Shattered Hope will also get some comfort during a conversation with her mother, Brooke Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang).
Brooke has definitely been “Team Lope,” but she’ll have to accept that Hope’s mind is made up. Once she realizes Hope isn’t going to budge, Brooke will insist she’s got her back. Her love is unconditional, so it doesn’t matter who Hope’s married to or what she wants. Brooke is always going to be in her daughter’s corner, so B&B spoilers say Hope will appreciate that.
Elsewhere, Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) will give his scheming son some guidance. Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) will feel confident he’s going to get the girl, but Ridge will offer a warning. He’ll contend that it’s a bad idea to meddle in matters of the heart.
Nevertheless, the damage is done and now Hope’s putting Liam in the rearview mirror. The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Thomas will have every reason to be hopeful, but trouble’s just around the corner! We’ll give you updates as other B&B news comes in.
