Joanna Krupa is one of those Bravolebrities that seems willing to talk about anything just to have a story in the weekly tabloids, doesn’t she? Now that we have heard all the sordid details about how her hot husband refuses to have sex with her it’s time to move onto another salacious bit of drama. Did you know that when Joanna first came to LA in 1999 to model she couldn’t get work, other than alleged prostitution, and ate herself into oblivion? Her mother came to town, took one look at her daughter and declared her fat and pathetic.
According to the Nov. 25th print edition of Star Magazine mom lit a fire under Joanna and she ran to buy laxatives. That was the start of Joanna’s destructive behavior which went on for years. She binged, purged and starved herself until she took a good, hard look in the mirror and realized that her skin looked dehydrated and her hair was a mess. Joanna went to an acupuncturist and decided to get herself healthy.
Fast forward to now and Joanna stays in shape by running and working out 5 days a week. She says that she decided to tell her story so that she can inspire other young women to get themselves some help just like she did. Do you guys believe that Joanna is wanting to inspire people to stop their own self abuse and to ask for help, or were her motives a little more business related?
