“The Young and The Restless” (Y&R) spoilers tease that even though Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) and Phyllis Abbot (Gina Tognoni) have survived insurmountable odds this past year, their marriage may soon crumble – and Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) will be there to pick up the pieces.
Phyllis cannot let go her hatred for Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) even though she’s so close to seeing Victor pay for what he’s done. She’s lashing out, acting like a psycho on the stand, and being an all-around rage monster.
This is just not Jack’s way of behaving and he thinks she’s out of control. The only one who sees eye-to-eye with Phyllis on any of this is Billy. We already saw Phyllis initiate that kiss with Billy at his new place even though they both felt bad about it, but they will continue to grow closer.
The Young and the Restless spoilers know Victoria already thinks something is up after the zipper scene at Billy’s GCAC room when Phyllis was there. But soon Victoria will see Phyllis in Billy’s arms at the Chancellor mansion and assume the worst. Looks like Phyllis is upset about Jack and comes to see Billy and he’s comforting her.
But Y&R spoilers say that to Victoria, it looks like much more than that once you factor in what she saw at GCAC. Plus, Victoria is used to Billy pursuing her and he’s washed his hands of their marriage. Billy is tired of playing second fiddle to Victor in Victoria’s mind and knows he can’t compete and is sick of begging.
This makes Billy prime for a new relationship. Meanwhile, Jack and Phyllis seems to be teetering on the precipice of a split. Did Victor break them with his Marco Annicelli (Peter Bergman) scheme? It seems like the demise of Phyllis and Jack has been on a slow burn – as has a romance for Phyllis and Billy.
Will it all come to a head on this week’s epsiodes? Will it be Victoria herself who catalyzes the drama and pushes Jack and Phyllis to a breaking point making Phyllis available to be with Billy? Y&R spoilers reveal that Victoria will come see Jack this week to confide in him.
Is this about her father’s trial? About business? Or, more likely, is it about her suspicions that her ex-hubby and Jack’s current wife are canoodling behind their backs? All it will take is Jack to ask Phyllis (or Billy) if they’ve been romantic for him to read the truth on their faces.
Of course, it was just a kiss and they both shut it down, but the writing is on the wall. Phyllis will be Billy’s before too long. What do you think Y&R fans? Do you think Jack and Phyllis’ marriage is irretrievable broken? Will she and Billy be together soon?
