Big Brother 14 Week 7 Episode 21 ‘Veto Competition’ Recap 8/29/12

Big Brother 14 Week 7 Episode 21 'Veto Competition' Recap 8/29/12

Tonight is another new episode of Big Brother 14 on CBS. Tonight we will get to see the Veto competition and find out if Dan and Danielle has a chance to get off the block. From all the spoilers I have read, tonight’s show is going to be epic.  There will be a move that will go down in Big Brother history.  If you missed the last episode (HoH completion), you can read our full and detailed recap here.

On last show we got to see the end of the double eviction and Ashley was sent home.  Frank won the HoH and the rest of the house feared his wrath.  Frank was totally pissed at Ian because he had Ashley voted out and he liked her.  Ian did it to make the Quack Pack happy. Ian felt horrible, really guilty about what he did.  Frank met with Ian and Britney and told them that he was going to put up Dan and Danielle but he was worried that Ian will use his PoV.

On tonight’s show Dan comes up with one of the most brilliant moves of this season.  Dan decides to spill every single detail to Frank of the Quack Pack’s plans.  He also tells Frank how it was Ian who engineered Boogie’s exit. Frank is surprised but he believes him.

Ian continues to alienate himself from the group last night Ian got a little drunk and made a lot of obnoxious comments that got on everyone’s nerves.  If he doesn’t win HOH this week, he might be in trouble.

Big Brother airs tonight at 8:00pm and we will be live blogging the show with all the up-to-the-minute details so make sure to come back to Celeb Dirty Laundry and watch the show with us. Can’t wait to see if there will be any more drama in the house, how about you?

Tonight’s episode: Tonight someone will win the POV and there will be an epic move that may change the game forever. The best case scenario for Britney is if one of her Quack Pack win the Veto and take Dan off the block, as well as, Ian uses his Veto to take off Danielle and they will be all safe, in a perfect Britney world.

It’s time for the Veto competition, Britney, Shane, Frank, Dan, Jenn  and Danielle are playing, Ian is the host.  During the competition the competitors have to agree to punishments to gain points; Dan gets a trip to solitary, Britney has to shackle herself to a houseguest and she chooses Danielle, Frank has to wear a carrot costume. Towards the end of the game, Britney hits the buzzer and then doesn’t know the answer, Frank says the word “summer” and gets disqualified from the game for speaking.

Britney is really worried, if Dan wins the POV, she is worried that she will be the replacement nominee. It’s down to Jenn and Dan, Jenn must agree to be on slop the rest of the summer to win the POV and she does. Jenn did this for Frank, she came through big time and he finally has someone on his side. Dan heads to his solitary confinement where he plans to strategize on who he can stab in the back to save himself in the game.

Dan is finally free and he’s acting so strange, he looks like a zombie. Dan calls a house meeting where he can address everyone. Dan stands in front of everyone, very emotional and almost in tears, he welcomes everyone to his Big Brother funeral. He goes to tell everyone how much they mean to him, one by one, by the time he gets to Ian half the house guests are crying. Dan goes on to tell Frank that he has something he wrote for him and it’s an apology.

Then, here’s the big one, the last person Dan speaks to is Danielle and he tells her that she is dead to him for what she did and she knows what it is. Danielle is shocked, Dan’s master plan worked because everyone is looking at him with pity and they are all looking at Danielle like, what they hell did she do???

Honestly, I have never seen a person more shocked than Danielle, she looks like she is going to have a nervous breakdown. Danielle heads to bed with Shane, who tries to console her.

Dan heads into the HOH room with Frank to blow up the Quack Pack. He goes on to tell Frank about the alliance, that everyone, including Ian has been lying to him for weeks. Dan swears to Frank on his wedding ring, his necklace from his dead grandfather and the bible, that he is telling the truth. They form a new alliance, Jenn, Frank, Dan and Danielle.

Dan pulls Danielle aside and tells her that it was all an act to save them, she calls him a sick person. Frank speaks to Jenn, the plan is to take Dan off the block and put Britney up for eviction because if they don’t take her out, she will continue to work with Shane and Ian.

It is time for the POV meeting. Ian first chooses not to use his POV, then Jenn uses hers and takes Dan off the block. Frank then tells Ian that he would have put him up on the block, but since he could not be nominated, the next best thing is his biggest ally, Britney. What an awesome move, Dan’s plan worked, 24 hours ago he was a dead man and now he is off the block. What an amazing show, this is what Big Brother is all about. What a refreshing change to see players play the game to win! I hope either Dan or Frank wins, who are you rooting for?
