Unresolved GH issues in Port Charles are building to a head – check out these “General Hospital” spoilers for the Thursday, July 23 episode. Don’t expect the Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) and Valerie Spencer (Brytni Sarpi) cheating scandal to go away anytime soon. Lulu Spencer (Emme Rylan) meets up with pal Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) and tells her that Dante and Valerie were making out. Lulu says it’s all her fault for lying about why she was out of town with Dillon Quartermaine (Robert Palmer Watkins). Maxie is all “oh hell no” and tells Lulu it’s nobody’s fault but Val’s for having the hots for Dante.
Meanwhile, overwhelmed by guilt, Dante breaks down during a workout session with Nathan West (Ryan Paevey). Dante tells his partner Nathan that he’s feeling awful because when he thought Lulu cheated, he cheated with Valerie and now he might have some unresolved feelings there and it’s just a hot mess. Nathan wishes he didn’t know this now and when Maxie tells him about Lulu blaming herself, will Nathan break the bro code and blab the truth?
Valerie gets a scare when she meets up with Bobbie Spencer (Jaclyn Zeman) who says they need to talk about her cousin. Valerie is scared her Aunt is going to take her to task over smooching Dante but it’s unrelated. Whew. But all this pressure is getting to Valerie and soon she will have a breakdown at work, which will prompt Jordan Ashford (Vinessa Antoine) to intervene to try and make her feel better. Jordan won’t be happy to have to do this personal crap at work.
Also, is Luke Spencer (Anthony Geary) planning on offing himself to put an end to the Spencer family ugliness? Luke is feeling pretty pitiful after getting dumped by Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) and is feeling like an all-around failure. Luke heads over to the old Spencer place to look around before Michael Quartermaine (Chad Duell) has it bulldozed. Luke mentioned that when the old house was gone, he would be too and it looked pretty ominous. Would Anthony Geary agree to a suicide for Luke?
But Luke won’t get to sacrifice himself – he’s going to get a visit from three spirits while in the house (in very Christmas Carol style). “General Hospital” spoilers indicate it will be all three of the dead Spencer – his dad Tim Spencer (played by Geary himself), his mom Lena Eckert Spencer (Laura Wright) and big sis Patricia Spencer (Dee Wallace). They will help him get some perspective to move on and he’ll head out of Port Charles in better shape psychologically.
With Michael assured by Luke that he can tear down the Spencer house on Elm Street to build the AJ Quartermaine Clinic to honor his dead dad, he’s feeling good. Michael takes his sweetie Sabrina Santiago (Teresa Castillo) out to the boat house to splash in the water and things will heat up more between the new couple. But there’s also a couple that’s cooling off. Lucas Jones (Ryan Carnes) wants to know why Brad Cooper (Parry Shen) has called off their wedding.
