Pippa Middleton Wedding Dress To Rival Kate Middleton's: Carole Middleton Uses Royal Connections For Designer Gown

Pippa Middleton grabbed more attention than ever before when Kate Middleton’s sister announced her engagement to James Matthews. Top designers around the world seem to be battling it out to see just who will have the privilege of designing Pippa’s wedding gown.

Brides magazine’s November/December 2016 issue has an entire spread devoted to designs for Pippa’s dress. Also included in the special section are sketches of what the designers believe Prince George and Princess Charlotte should wear as Kate and William’s children walk down the aisle on Pippa’s big day.

Any one of these designers would probably be more than happy to dress Pippa from head-to-toe on her big wedding day. We all know that Carole Middleton will never pass up an opportunity to use connections to the Royal family to get what she wants. And what Mama Middleton wants appears to be a wedding dress to rival Kate Middleton’s.

James Matthews may not be Royalty, but that doesn’t mean Pippa doesn’t deserve the society wedding to rival all society weddings in 2017. What better way to keep tongues wagging for a lifetime than for Pippa Middleton’s wedding dress to be even more stunning than the Duchess of Cambridge’s?

Inside the pages of Brides magazine you will find quite the array designer ideas about Pippa’s wedding dress. A sketch of a wedding gown designed by “designer to the stars” Romona Keveza was highlighted in a recent YouTube video. Keveza’s design “features long sleeves, a sharply cinched-in waist and a soft, sweeping skirt made of Chantilly lace.”

Considering all reports that Pippa Middleton has been working out like a fiend to get her derriere in shape for the big day, we doubt a big poofy skirt is what Pippa will be wearing down the aisle.

Kate Middleton went for the modest Grace Kelly look when she married Prince William. Will Pippa also go the Hollywood route with a dress by designer Mira Zwillinger?

Reportedly, the design of the Mira Zwillinger wedding dress has a “plunging [Bridget] Bardot neckline with delicate handmade branches and blooms offset by a full lightly-pleated skirt of silk chiffon.”

Carole Middleton may want Pippa to pass on this one. The plunging neckline would expose too much cleavage – and the world has seen enough of Pippa’s lady bits. Carole should try to keep all that tucked in on Pippa’s wedding day.

There’s one dress that may possibly bridge the gap giving Pippa a wedding gown that would show off her figure and be somewhat modest. A sketch from Ian Stuart is a two-piece ensemble described as “worlds away from the classic bridal gown with its innovative coat and champagne silk-Mikado dress combination.”

The Ian Stuart design would provide Carole Middleton with exactly the right gown to rival Kate Middleton’s wedding dress. And Carole isn’t above using her Royal connections to get that dress. Every bride would be clamoring for an Ian Stuart design after seeing Pippa in one. We’re betting the designer would be more than happy to provide the gown free of charge – despite the fact that the Middletons can afford to pay for it.
