The Young and the Restless spoilers tease that Adam’s (Justin Hartley) wedding ring will prove crucial to the reopened mystery surrounding his apparent death. As Y&R viewers recall, an undetectable character, who was wearing black leather gloves put Adam’s ring into a drawer on the day of his memorial service last September 2016.
Chloe (Elizabeth Hendrickson) seems like the obvious person who would have been, or still is in possession of this item. The Young and the Restless spoilers claim she could have easily removed the ring after shooting Adam with the dart gun.
Interestingly, Y&R recently made a point to have Chloe enter Chelsea’s (Melissa Claire Egan) penthouse apartment with black leather gloves on. She pulled them off to show her claimed best friend and Nick (Joshua Morrow) the engagement ring that Kevin (Greg Rikaart) had just given her. Chloe was then questioned by Chick about the tracking device Nick found.
Adam’s nemesis apparently tracked him to the cabin through the device she placed in Connor’s (Gunner and Ryder Gadbois) toy. She arrived at the cabin and used the aforementioned gun, but wasn’t wearing gloves at that time.
As the issue of the cabin explosion lingers The Young and the Restless fans have been left to wonder if Adam actually died in that explosion, escaped or was pulled from the building before it erupted. The idea that his ring would be in pristine condition, or have somehow been blown off his finger and then found seems highly unlikely.
After being questioned by Chick, as described above, Chloe beelined to the bedroom of Kevin’s home. She pulled a rectangular box marked party shoes from under the bed. Kevin unexpectedly popped in, but saw nothing. Moments later Chloe unzipped a nylon bag that contained the dart gun, an unused dart and a metal wrench.
In various crime flicks criminals, for varying reasons, will save the tools of their trade as mementos. Professional villains know not to retain their smoking guns, or the bullets (in this instance, a dart) or the other implements that were used in committing crimes. Why Chloe kept that trio of items and kept them under her bed can only be considered a reckless act. Of course, her having done so helps to further the coming climax to this stretched arc right now.
The wrench would have been used to loosen the gas line, which erupted and thus caused the cabin to explode. Whether Chloe allowed Adam to remain inside as that happened, he escaped or another party saved him isn’t yet known. CDL is a leading source for everything linked to The Young and the Restless.
