Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Lucas Horton (Bryan Dattilo) will get devastating updates on Kate Roberts’ (Lauren Koslow) condition. DOOL fans know Vivian Alamain (Robin Strasser) managed to sneak in Kate’s room and cut off her air supply. She didn’t succeed in murdering Kate, but she did cause her to slip into a coma. Unfortunately, Kate’s prognosis will remain grim during the week of September 23-27.
Kayla Johnson (Mary Beth Evans) will know this is difficult to think about, but she’ll suggest it’s time to face reality. Kate won’t be improving at all, so there’ll basically be no hope. Without a miracle, Kayla just won’t see any way Kate can recover. Days spoilers say Kayla will break this tragic news to Lucas and Will Horton (Chandler Massey). It’ll be tough for them to wrap their heads around a world without Kate.
Will and Lucas will lean on each other for support as they wish things were different. They’ll visit comatose Kate’s bedside and assure her of their love, but that won’t change her prognosis. After they process everything, it’ll be a little easier to accept the facts. Days of Our Lives spoilers say Lucas will urge Kayla to run the appropriate tests. He’ll want to see if Kate might be a viable heart donor for Julie Williams (Susan Seaforth Hayes).
Julie will die without a heart transplant, so Lucas will hope something positive can come out of Kate’s death. Once Kayla confirms that Kate’s a qualified match, Lucas will give his approval. It’ll be painful to tell Kate goodbye along with Will, but they’ll feel like they have no other choice. Days of Our Lives spoilers say it’ll truly look like the end of the road.
Of course, there’s always a twist brewing in Salem. Kate definitely isn’t dying, so this is all one big fake-out. Stefan DiMera (Brandon Barash) will likely be rushed to the hospital after suffering horrific injuries. That should set Stefan up as the heart donor Julie needs and get Kate off the hook. There’s a good chance Kate will just miraculously awaken after the plug’s pulled.
